Seamus has given the go ahead. You will be able to watch the video with the secret edited out. I've been working with Calibration for quote a while and tried multiple versions, multiple *I**s. And really if you are a mentalist who has ever learnt the mnemonic 1 = t 2 is n then this should be pretty simple.
Seamus will have this looked at to make it even simpler. If you have used the original method, and you most likely have, can give a reading, then you should be rocking Calibration every chance you get.

This all sounds very interesting. Is there further news on the video Machina? I'd be curious to know more before I make up my mind on this one.
Thanks for all of the reviews. Best, Jinksy |

Hey guys,
I have done a complete re-frame of this and now perform it differently. I still need to continue to test it out, but the method is basically the same from the book, but I am also using some scripting that re-frames the whole thing, and makes them forget that there ever was a process. More later...... Alex

I received this last week, and I'd like to write a short review. Usually I don't feel that I have much to add to these conversations, but in this case, I think further reviews are still needed. I ordered this manuscript based on the reviews on the two Café threads. I got a small discount from Lulu on the black Friday sale.
Am I happy with the purchase/Did I get my money's worth? Absolutely, yes. And I am encouraging others to buy this, because I would like to see how these ideas can further develop. I immediately saw many additional possibilities. I have followed most of the billetless name/word guess releases. I can't keep up with the Parker/Tayler releases (still haven't read Rose, False Messiah, Synch, or Second Coming) but I've read all the others that I'm aware of, including Atlas' TT. For me, of the ones I've read, this is the one. I haven't done this yet, so I can't fully vouch for the effectiveness. But, I'm no dummy, and I have a very good sense of what will work in the real world or not. I haven't done this yet, because I want to make a few modifications for my purposes, and commit it to memory first. I think the propless, memory based versions of this effect have the strongest potential, although some of the prop versions seem very good, too. I've shared my ideas with Seamus, already, by PM. I'd love to be a part of a Facebook group for this one! One of my ideas would require a little extra work, but would make this 100% bulletproof for any word or name. With the current system there is a small chance that you can't get the name. But, in that case, you wouldn't guess "wrong" because you'll know definitively that you are unable to get the name. I propose shifting to a second Calibration in that case, which would bring this to 100%. My second idea would involve combining this process with RedDevil's Invisible Gemini which, at least in my imagination, would be about the cleanest work next to muscle reading. The memory work here is not hard. There is some work to be done, but... this is not rocket science. This is maybe on par with MOAB, in terms of memory work. You'll need to practice for a few hours, for sure, but this is even easier than say, Thought Chunnel. And the best part of this, in my opinion, is that (as Seamus says in the book) the process comes across as the sort of fake process mentalists would invent in order to make it look like they're doing real mind reading. But in this case, it's the real process -- and that's why I'm so happy with this idea. The quality of the writing and organization has been called into question in previous posts, and that would be the room for improvement in this small book. Grammar and spelling are good, so that is a plus, but the overall style of the writing is very colloquial and there are a few mistakes here and there in terms of the methodology. But, if you follow along with how the method works, these mistakes are pretty obvious, and the corrections are self-apparent. Even Erdnase made mistakes. These billetless name guesses are evolving so quickly that I didn't mind the looseness of the writing. This book is not poetry, but it conveys a method, and many potential variations of this method (such as using props, spectator as mind reader, full audience participation, etc). I would say that this is more than a rudimentary exploration of this technique. It is fairly thorough, in my opinion, and more than enough to get anyone started on the use of this technique. For me, I want to take some time to customize this for my purposes before committing it to memory. But I think I'll have this ready to go within the week! For the value per dollar, I'd say that this is one of my best propless purchases. And I look forward to learning more from the others that are using this technique, such as Macchina and Alex. Thanks Seamus. Great idea and great price. I do not hesitate to recommend Calibration! Sincerely, Jinksy |

I did what ProfJinksy suggested and combined this with with Invisible Gemini. I did it for someone the other day. I spent about 90 seconds doing the process maybe, and I told them their patronus/spirit animal. It worked well, in my opinion. I am going to keep exploring the idea. Very interesting developments. I recommend this little book.

Hey guys,
SO I have been out for awhile but for good reason. I have been testing Seamus´s streamlined Calibration effect called Excalibur, and have been frying brains with it. If you were or were not a fan of Calibration, you will be a fan of this, for the simple fact, that not only do you get to tell the spectator if he was lying or telling the truth, but also the exact word. This even works with playing cards. This is genious on so many levels. I have performed it over the phone, Skype, and in person, and it seems as if there is no process involved. No there isn't any PAs going on, there is something going on, but it all seems very transparent, that nobody will suspect, not even magicians. This is best to perform for laymen, but I have done it to a few magician friends, and only one was wise enough to describe what I was doing, but I give him props. This effect is hard to backtrack and deconstruct. This is Calibration to the nth degree, since the possibilities are endless. I have been in constant contact with Seamus, and praise him for this outstanding piece of work. If you don't already have Exaclibur, or Calibre, you may contact Seamus, or he will just chime in here, this is totally impromptu, and doesn't require you carry anything. Not even a deck of cards. Seamus you have outdone yourself, and I applaud you Alex Alejandro

Hi Stefan,
Thanks for the interest. The password is corinda. Let me know if you have any other questions, Thanks for the review Alex. For those of you that like thought of card reveals you will enjoy the effect calibre. It's a thought of card divination combined with a truthteller liar effect. It's 100% surefire and very easy to learn and perform. There is a little bit of memory work but if you can count to 13 you should be fine ;-) Best, Séa

Ok I bought this on a recommendation and I can see there's a great idea here just bursting to come out... I get the concept explained at the start easily enough... but I feel like I've received half an ebook?
It kicks off virtually straight in to a table that seems only partly complete - only the first four of the fifteen rows seem to have anything in the fourth column. There's nothing in any of the third columns. Then it tells me to learn this 1-15 table by rote... but how? There's only four rows completed. Am I meant to figure the rest out on my own? No clue is given as to how the table is constructed. Surely the explanation should cover how this mystery table is formed and how the responses from the spectator should be interpreted? There's a 'Mind reader approach' given, with a kind of presentation but no actual example, so I can't see what the end result will be. I'm really hoping I somehow have a corrupted PDF else I'm bitterly disappointed in the quality of this product. Page count is 32. Sean - does this sound right to you? Or does it sound like something's gone wrong here? I feel incredibly stupid but I've read and re-read this thing and still can't make head nor tail of it...

Hi Jbadman, just sent you a pm there.
If you get the concept at the start the tables should make sense. I'm pretty sure you got the full ebook with excalibur and calibre included. Hit me up on Facebook messenger if you like and I can message you in real-time, Otherwise drop me your email and I can go through it with you, Best, Séa

Hi Jamie,
Just sent you an email there. Just to address some points above: The table is complete. I don't want to give too much away but the first 2 columns is the information that the spectator never sees. The other lines of text is what you will be saying or showing to the spectator However, I keep the information all in one overall table as it is a set, I.e. They go together Page 15 has a script with an example.once you know the workings from page 6, this makes sense. The file is 32 pages so it probably isn't corrupted...Sorry Email me back with questions, I think once it clicks it will make sense. I'm just an email or a Facebook message away so feel free to get in touch, Séa (not Sean)
