Maybe it's just me but I've always felt that a pen looks more convincing than with a Sharpie. If you think about it, doesn't it make more sense to puncture a bill with a narrower point that a pen provides?

But don't get me wrong, it's not a criticism of this gimmick. Apparently, it seems to be very well made, but a sharpie for this effect, not for me. |

I think having them sign with a sharpie then doing a penetration with it makes more scene then pulling out a pen and doing it. hen you can flow into more effects. Also now days makes more scene for us to be carrying a sharpie when performing magic than a pen.

Can any owners of this effect confirm that this will work well with Canadian plastic money?
Thanks, Ed |

This is the version I have weddingmagician - I'm too wondering the difference with sharp shot? I have a feeling it's much more than just a stronger m****t but not sure what the advantages are???
Anyone? |

Loving this... but, anyone else having issues with the "push-thru" folded bill penetration occasionally ripping the bill?
It happens enough that, although my fav method, I am hesitant to do it. |

I got this and it is really well made, but I prefer the pens, I think the sharpie is a bit too big and clunky, this may be due to the fact I have been using the pen version for many years. I also really like the fancy metal pen, I wish it was made a little better though.

I have this and really like it, but the instruction is a vimeo that can't be downloaded. I understand the "way of the future" argument, but if the company goes out of business, that video could easily disappear.
Can anyone tell me the easiest way to download this vimeo that is password protected and doesn't have the download feature turned on? After all, I paid for it, I'm not going to pirate it, I just want it on MY computer. KJ |

Graham,
Hi. Can you recommend any software? Is there any free software to do this? I have saved the link, but my concern is if the company goes out of business and the vimeo gets deleted, it's gone forever. I have had that happen before. kj |

I use the free Torch browser and that has a button to download any video that is playing. Torch uses the same basis as the Chrome browser. I downloaded the Sharp Shot video to my computer this way.
Ed P.S. make sure to disable some of the add on features in Torch or else you will get advertising all the time. |

While it may be true that this gimmick doesn't contain a rip gaff, I've done the Wonder pen-e-tration many times and NOT ONCE has anyone mentioned that there was no ripping of the bill when the pen penetrated.
My view is that the rip gaff is unnecessary and is guilding the lily. Quote: On Nov 9, 2016, Larry Davidson wrote:
