My pleasure Laurie! The Niue Turtle 1$ comes in at 1/2oz silver and 33mm diameter, and the Silver Britannia is very slightly wider than an Eisenhower, and considerably thicker at 1oz silver. I also like the Australian lunar series, at 1/2oz and 36mm diameter:

I have nice contrast coins in 31mm and 40mm. Anybody know of any nice 36mm ones? Tyler, nice hobo coins your friend has! Keep up the great work with CMU, I love your videos! Don't worry about scorpion criticisms, as far as animal welfare is concerned.. anybody who drives a car, or eats meat, or eats plants grown in what used to be jungle can hardly complain IMHO.. |

Here's a link to the Perth mint with more of the Australian lunar series- some very pretty ones there, indeed, thank you for those, Invisticone.
http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/au......-ii.aspx The Northwest Territorial Mint has art medals at 38.1mm. I have several of these. I'll keep an eye out for 36mm, too. Here's a link to the 38mms: https://store.nwtmint.com/National_Park/ALL One that caught my eye at the Perth Mint linked above: Australian Lunar Series II 2009 Year of the Ox Silver. Coloured. 45mm |

Thanks! Some interesting contrast coins to consider...
I don't know why the images on my last post are messed up... I'll try another: |

Is that the Black Pearl? I like that ship's wheel, but though I'm a pirate, I'm not that keen on skulls, at least at the moment. I really like galleons and some of the other tall ships. Very cool. I have a few small coins with similar boats depicted and my Mom has a very cool one in her coin collection, as well. I might go looking for more of these.
This gets me thinking, too, about model boats, which reminds me of Bill Barker and perhaps again about Dick Proenneke |

I have some of these half pennies, I'll have to check which dates. I might have some pics around. Maybe I'll post some photos of the ship coins I have. I think I have a pic of Mom's cool coin, too- I think it's dime sized if I remember correctly, but very cool nonetheless. |

Hey Magicalaurie, wonderful thread! I've always loved beautiful coins, medals etc. and you have some gorgeous examples here. Nothing I own comes close.
Btw, what part of the country do you call home ? I'm on PEI. Cheers |
