Marc Salem said something at a lecture once - on YouTube, Magic Circle I think - about magicians and mentalists not honoring secrets any longer. Well, I sort of agree with that. It's sad, but I think once the secret of GOLDEN is out there, it will be copied - at least one of the gimmicks - and made available to everyone and become just another one of those "everyone has it" items, like a forcing pad. Little I can do to stop that. I chose to product the book as an actual printed book though to avoid that being easily shared. Hopefully in terms of protecting my applications for GOLDEN, that will make some difference. |

Hi Robb,
Now I see it...the 'lovely dinner' did the trick for Jan (just kidding, of course) Will Golden be needing any refills? Sorry if I missed this on your product page. Also, after receiving your pack and before actually using it, do I need to do any 'arts n crafts'? Thanks in advance.
There is no better freedom than choice and no better choice than freedom.

Hi Imaginacian! GOLDEN doesn't require "refills", but if you were to lose any of the gimmick materials, obviously you'd need replacements which I will be making available. There might or might not be a small amount of "arts and crafts" required before you start using GOLDEN depending on what you already own, but nothing too challenging. A few minutes, tops.

I've received a few order inquiries from Japan and one from India. Unfortunately, GOLDEN is currently only available for shipping to the United States, Canada and the EU (inlciuding UK!). Just wanted to clarify that. I may add other countries in the future once I get more familiar with international shipping.
I will say that releasing GOLDEN has made me realize how people from so many countries frequent these forums. Pretty cool actually. |

Perhaps someone from the States can help out and guide Rob on international shipping.

Takeachance, I have shipping to many countries figured out in terms of rates and carriers. For others I'm still looking for a economical solution. Also, I'm making myself familiar with the addressing formats for various countries so I can be sure addresses are accurate and are entered appropriately on different forms that have different formats. Customs was another issue you have to contend with.
Fact is, I've never shipped anything internationally before I released GOLDEN and I admit I'm still learning. I am not primarily a creator or dealer of mentalism products, but primarily a performer, so this is all new to me. I think I've done a good job so far fulfilling orders, getting them out next day or within 48 hours at most... And no customer complaints yet so that's encouraging! |

Avoid the cheap Chinese rip offs, by all accounts these use an untrained black Labrador rather than a highly trained golden retriever.

GOLDEN One Ahead: Reveal the thoughts of multiple audience members by "getting ahead" in the most invisible manner. Applicable to telepathy routines or Q&A, GOLDEN provides the key! The GOLDEN One Ahead tutorial video is 25:18 and explains in great detail, with excellent step-by-step instructions, the mechanics of the GOLDEN Q&A routine. |

Sounds interesting, but unfortunately, I have no idea what I might be getting into with this. Maybe it's great, but maybe it won't fit into my style.

As Iain rightly says, Golden is a tool and, for those who get it, it is well worth thinking about how you can best use it.
Last night I used Golden for the first time in a close up environment and with the spectators watching me like a hawk. No-one detected anything amiss. Next week I will be using it in a show but Golden is certainly a worker and a genuine delight to use. |

That's excellent, Neil! I'm thrilled to hear how quickly other performers are able to put GOLDEN to work for themselves. If you want to share your routine with me privately, I'd love to hear what you came up with.

One fellow did and I actually told him GOLDEN would probably NOT be for him at this time. Of course, I can't expose the method behind GOLDEN - unless you're somebody I really, REALLY trust - but I can still work with you to determine if GOLDEN is right for you. Personally, I think GOLDEN does offer something for virtually ALL mentalists, of any technical skill level, as it can do some things virtually automatically and do others with just a bit of work. However, if billets are out of place in your show, or simply something you haven't explored yet, you might want to first invest in something like Eliott Bressler's outstanding "Switchcraft" or a similar resource that would get you started with billet work and help you realize the potential of those little slips of paper. |

Just placed my order.
I will do my best to post an honest review from the perspective of someone with only two years experience of mentalism (beginner-intermediate), and 10 years prestidigitation. So far I have done routines from Bob Cassidy, some book tests, some billet work, and some gimmick assisted cold reading. . |
