Hi Guys,
This is a new product we have coming in at Murphy's. I haven't had a chance to see it in the flesh but it looks like an interesting take on the T n R card. More info: http://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=58719 Best regards, Titanas

Part of the ad states this,
"In this effect a card is chosen and clearly ripped in half, without any cover or hiding anything palmed. " So wonder if they are saying AFTER the restoration there is nothing palmed? From what I can see in the video, this is not the case. Now it is very possible I am wrong. But, if you are left dirty then the ad is worded just so carefully to make us think otherwise. In which case I would say BS and let this one ride on principle. Now, I am not opposed to having to palm something but when the product ad is worded carefully to deceive, that's BS. Maybe the creator or Titanas can comment on this after he checks it out? RNK

This looks very very good but a serious question: is this legal?
In regards to the design, unless Joao has found a way to get them printed elsewhere/on another material, is Bicycle ok with this? Just want to make sure. (I get that it's more than just a specially printed card,so figured a playing card manufacturer couldn't make this) |

I can see the method and it looks great.
How much will the refills be and will it be available from any UK suppliers like Propdog? |

I could see the method also and that's what bothers me.

Well at least we know, unlike Penguin, how many performances you get with the package. 60 is about right for the price I suppose. Good thinking and what a great souvenir to give away. Bicycle stock too. This makes me happy.

Agree. Price is up there but 60 refills is much better than what we normally get. Looks nice

We have it listed here and have had our review copy already. http://www.saturnmagic.co.uk/saturn-magi......ick.html
I think most will see the method so you can basically see what you are getting here. It's easy enough to do and is a nice impossible object which sets it apart from a lot of T&R that need quite a lot of work to get nice and smooth, most people will be getting to grips with this very quickly. The only downside is refills but for 60 its not a bad price, you also get a selection of values so you can vary the card used.

I'm tempted. Very tempted but experience and history tells me to wait for the user reviews...
So for once I will.

Because you also can see it in the pictures of the product, I guess I reaveal nothing when I say that the biggest part which I don't like is, that you can clearly see that the restored part is not the one you ripped of...
I mean they just have to fold the card and they will see that the two peaces were never together... |

Reminiscent of the Oops Deck, but with an even more intriguing "twist". It is a great and visual give away.

I don't know the method but looked a very illogical move after the card was put back to me . That part was a concern as seemed blatantly obvious at that point .

Once at the wedding the couple didn´t stopped talking about how I fused both signed parts together. Usually after I perform the effect I place the halves in a small plastic bag WITH my business card, making of this a wonderful souvenir. I really like how practical this effect is, and the ending is totally unexpected and people really gasp when I Restore the card. I am sure magicians will add this effect directly to their repertoire and will love the reactions they will get from it. |

How much are the refill Decks? It's working out too expensive for me to perform if refills are the same price.

Looks cool, and I do like the idea of restoring the card so that it makes a new impossible object. However, I already perform Axel Hecklau's Fusion and I think that it has a much stronger premise and reasoning for tearing the card (or cards in the case of Fusion) than Rejoined has.
I can't comment on the handling for Rejoined as I don't have it. But the displays that are possible with Fusion just seem more free and open. At least they do to me. If I didn't know about Fusion then I would probably get Rejoined. I just don't feel Rejoined offers enough to warrant having as well as Fusion. But then, if anyone does have both and they know otherwise do say.

I think your ad copy needs some tweaking. "Without any cover or special moves the signed halves are restored"
The effect is fine, I am just saying.
