Having now done wikitest 20 times, it is hands down the trick of the year. The reactions are incredible and the technology is ahead of its time.

1) Starlight (easily the most original trick of this decade and OH SO magical."

2) Priceless (I've used it in virtually every show since the day I got it.)

3) odyssey (so clever, so visual, so easy, so fun, so cheap!)

Thurston:
Matt Mello hands down. Genius creator and so kind.

Not an easy decision to make, as 2016 has provided me with some superb workable bits of business, including, All About Eve, Will To Read, The GPS Deck, Volition and Calendar Presage. But if forced to choose, my top 3 acquisitions have to be:

Symbol by Steve Cook.

Murray Mint by Michael Murray.

The Seer Wallet by Michael Weber.

And if the rules allowed a joint 3rd place: Smile

Badland's Box by Tony Curtis, Alakazam and Magic Wagon.

I'm always behind on tricks, and often happen upon them much later than they came out…I used to be late to dinner like that too. Smile

Anyway, here's what I got…

- Coin Coalition, by John Jurney
- E=MC2 (6 Cards to Pocket), by Glenn Morphew
- Toi Box, by Jonathan Kamm

John Jurney

Thanks for your nomination MB. I'm honored to be in your top 3 for the year, especially since I know how good JJ's Coin Coalition and Toi Box are.

Thanks again,
Glenn

There have been so many great effects this year. I don't own Little Door but I will be getting it now.

1- Pro Aces by Paul Gordon (Penguin re-release, my first intro to this fine example of impromptu magic)
2- Eclipse by Dave Loosely
3- Toi Box by Jonathan Kamm

It's unbelievable and simplicity at its best. Well done Roddy

Honorable mentions to:
Coin Coalition by John Jurney (I couldn't vote for it as I've not worked it yet).
DMC Rouge by Phill Smiff (again, I couldn't vote for it as I've not worked it yet).
C2P project by Steve Valentine, the depth of research and breadth of work is incredible.

Thurston:
Glenn Morphew - for quietly producing some of the best video based teaching out there e.g. E=MC2 and 3 shell boot camp.

1. Wikitest
2. Color match pocket
3. Will to Read

Honerable mentions go to:
- The RDR from promystic ( craig released a new version this year but albeit more of an update than a new product which is why it's not ok my list)
-Brett's KOD pad(similar to above, an update to the design but really adds so much it really should probably be on my list)

Award goes to Craig at promystic. Amazing products backed up by the best customer service in the business.
