I'm looking for info on this club / stage-sized tambourine / drum head tube. (I just bought it in an auction, so I haven't seen it in person yet. From the photos, I'm guessing that it is approximately 3 1/2 feet tall.)
Any information would be appreciated.

It's an OLD tambourine. It uses a "drumhead" load "pan", but, it's not a drum head TUBE. PM me, we can talk about it.

Hi! cb...

Did that old 'hunka junk" ever arrive???

I think that thing could hold about ten 6' Dragons, + a 6' butterfly or two.....

After looking at the photo again it look like the pole was put together using parts from different lamps.
A white base wanna the norm back then either.

It looks like part of a Donal Holmes Tambourine production.

I have some new information! According to John Gaughan, it's a Thayer stand and a German drum. (Probably)
I'm still trying to figure out whether or not to refinish this piece. I know that people always say to leave items in their original condition, but the stand looks terrible. I think I could strip and repaint the base pretty easily. What do you think?
