Not harsh. I am happy she lived as long as she did. Her hard life was not hidden by her. She had demons she did not deal well with as a very young woman. I believe much of it is recounted in "Wired".
Tough to get past some of the drug issues. Even when you stop it has taken a toll on the body. She admitted and accepted much of this. She brought a lot to many lives, mine included though I don't believe I was ever in the same zip code with her. That is how I choose to remember her life.

Watched the original Star Wars last night. Just had to! btw, Carrie spawned the princess Leia hairdo, which my wife wore in the late 70's! RIP for both mom and daughter. Lynn
