The Elastic Aptitude Test (EAT) has been designed to measure the distance your imagination can stretch. Unlike traditional aptitude tests, which reward a humdrum command of facts, EAT rewards Flexible Agile Thinking (FAT). Now then, how flexible is your mind?

Part VI: Essay Question

Which reminds me:

A professor once gave the following essay exam to her history class. It consisted of the following:

"Create an appropriate question for an essay exam and answer it."

Our hero of this story, who hadn't studied very hard, nonetheless, was given an A by the professor. She had no choice. Here was his question and answer:

Question: "Create an appropriate question for an essay exam and answer it."

and his answer . . .

Answer: "Create an appropriate question for an essay exam and answer it."

I actually had a teacher do this 30 or so years ago.

The point was to write exactly what was said to be written, which is why I added my entry after having read Opus'.

So based on the results of my fine public education, I stand by my entry being as equally valid as Opus'. After all, we all know teacher's are perfect and don't lie. If my teacher required the answer I gave, it is right.

Note, this BBS capitalized "You", I didn't.

The only question I see asked in your original post is...
Now then, how flexible is your mind?

How does one answer an essay question without a question being asked?
