Good day Sir Simon!
I actually had the pleasure of first meeting you at the Inner Circle of Bizarre Magick Convention many years ago when I was far younger (I believe you had talked to my father that evening about that accident you spoke of in an earlier post) and then I have proceeded to meet you annually for the last 5 years at Tannen's Magic Camp. I have two questions for you. What kind of advice can you give a magician breaking into full-time work in terms of business, marketing, etc.? & Can you name a truly magical experience in your life that inspired you to create Magic? I know many people may think that comedy cant spring from awe or tragedy but I feel you know it can (for some reason) and I was wondering if that happened and how it inspired you, perhaps as a hint to other magicians creating magic? I also want to add that I'll never forget the Santa Claus Story you told at Camp years ago. -Daniel GreenWolf "Malak" |

In terms of business remember that showbusiness is really two words - show and business. Get a good college education in business and accounting if you want to be a pro - it will repay you a thousand times over!
There are so many truly magical experiences that it would be very hard to pick one out but, a really cool one, would be Lisa the first time she said she loved me Many comedians work from extremes - I guess that's true! |
