What you think it might be a good way to create nice looking text poker sized cards, in the style of the one used in Caleb Wiles' "Fully Automatic Card Tricks" or Peter Nardi's "Knock 'em dead II"? The reason to create new ones is that I need to create that kind of cards in my language but I'd like to make them look good.

Print on clear labels and stick them on blank faced cards.

Agree with RealityOne. I have done this, and it's pretty cost effective. Only con is that the edges and corners can roll up a bit after handling for a while making some moves pretty difficult.

Another option is just to get a set of stencils from an art supply store. Trace the letters with pencil, fill it in with Sharpie. Once it dries, you're all set.
