Where do you go to practice? I'm just curious here. I go to the basement garden level... or just wait till everyone is gone. Usually the latter.

I don't really practice anymore. I just think of, or see, something cool and see if I can make it.

Go to a nursing home, restaurant, or church social event. They would love to have you and you can practice as much as you want. Set up a little tip jar and you'll be able to pay for your balloons and probably get dinner too.

I already know how to make everything which really helps. Of course I keep hearing things like, that's not a Picachu that's a dog! Or that's not a three toed sloth, that's a dog! Or sometimes they say hey, that looks just like a dog and I wanted a cat. Then I say, "HEY! Do I go to your school and criticize your work?" OK all of that's a joke! I'm like NYC Twister. I usually only practice anymore when I get a request for something unique or an idea for something I haven't done.
