Channing Pollock is using a fanning deck different from the Waddington/De La Rue deck that he used in most of his performances (e.g. the checkerboard Zodiac deck from "European Nights").
Can anyone identify this deck?

I was able to track down the fanning deck that I asked about above. It was printed by the Whitman Publishing Company. I posted scans of the deck on the

The white and red corners of the deck makes for greater contrast in the color change than the Waddington Zodiac deck that he used in "European Nights."

I did not know Whitman made playing cards. As a kid, I bought Whitman's punch out magic trick book. It was full of magic tricks that you punched out the perforated parts and folded them together. Over the years, it has disappeared, as I bought 2 of them as I liked it so much. Bring back memories of the local 5 and 10 cent store.

Those cards look perfect and much better then some of others you found. I tried looking for fanning decks among bridge playing cards, but never found one that really struck me as just right.

I don't recall seeing the Whitman deck among the fanning decks from Pollock's collection that were auctioned off by Potter and Potter. The deck came in a variety of color schemes (see the jpeg at the link below) and since the only video I know of of Channing Pollock using the deck is the black-and-white video from the above link, I'm not sure which color deck he used in the video. But since he used the red Waddington deck in "European Nights," I would guess that he used the red Whitman deck.

Here's an eBay listing for a blue Whitman canasta set with a layout similar to the horse deck but with flowers and a house instead of horse:
