Which one do you prefer to use the J.G. Thompson Coin or the Slotted Box? I have been having some issues with the J.G. Thompson Coin at times. Without the right amount of pressure it will not appear. The Slotted Box is much easier. The advantage with the J.G. Thompson Coin is it can be shown clean without hiding anything.

It all depends on how advanced and manipulative one want to become.

Speaking of the J.G. Thompson coin... does anyone know where I can purchase one ? Possibly one with a Walking Liberty ?

p.s. Although I'm pretty much a coin box novice, I also recommend Coin Box Concepts 1 and 2

Daytona Magic appears to carry it. Being a standard inventory Johnson Products item, however, it only comes in Kennedy half (clad).
For a supernatural chiller mixing magic (prestidigitation, legerdemain) with Magic (occultism, mysticism), check out my novel MAGIC: AN OCCULT THRILLER at http://www.amazon.com/Magic-Occult-Thriller-Reed-Hall/dp/1453874836

I've got a few old JG Thompson coins with brass backs (the ones I see at Daytona and Midwest appear to be silver in color - aluminum? steel?).
PM me if interested and I'll dig them out and send some pics.
