Coin Box Concepts Vol. 1 and 2 is a great download dealing with Okito Boxes. It explains a lot of moves that were never shown before. Everything is explained standing up. No lapping. It helps me out a lot with my restaurant strolling.

It is only made for moderate to advanced coin manipulators.

Pros:
Something to be proud for.
Entertain magicians at conventions and clubs.
Different type of Okito Boxes are used.
Great instructor for moderate/advanced workers.
No lapping.
$29.99 for both volumes deal still has not expired.

Cons:
Your magician friends might become jealous of you.
No listing page of the title of each routine.

This is an awesome download. I feel like it kind of flew under the radar a bit. I,ve been practicing a bunch of the routines from this because of the points you've already mentioned.

Try this link. It's a youtube review by mindpirate, a member on the Café. He has a link in the description and it's only $5

Ugh. I hate paying a "regular" price for something, only to discover it fall in price drastically. $5 is an amazing price, and a heck of a lot less than I paid.

That said, I agree that it's wonderful work, and I'm still trying to absorb it all. I, too, would love more volumes.

Has anyone tried the book mentioned here? http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......&forum=3
I've been considering it for a bit.

I do not see a $5 fee.

Read the line above the youtube link again. "He has a link in the description and it's only $5". What price do you see?

You are - but did you try clicking on the link? (gum.co).
The description says $29.99, but it's clearly changed since.

Trust the store, not the text, which is 7 months old.

Yes but you would see a different number once you're in the link. I have a PayPal receipt to confirm it costs merely $5.

You are right. I saw it. The question is he the original seller? Does he has the right to make money from J. Burk Whittaker's download?

I did purchase it for $29.99. It was well worth it.

The $5 was probably a mistake. The server corrected the fee to $29.95.

Oh! I should perhaps thank the error...! (Quite frankly wouldn't have bought it at $29.95 ...)

He's not "making money" off of it. Gumroad is the same content provider that's linked off of the original address (http://www.thehandsofmagic.com/coin-box-concepts.html)
I suspect it was a deal J. Burk Whittaker offered, as thanks for the review.

I suspect there was some typo made somewhere, and something (perhaps even this thread) drew attention to the error and it's since been corrected.
I do think it was worth the $30, but always enjoy paying less. Smile

But you are paying less. It is $29.99 not $30. Smile

The link reads it will cost $59.99 later this year. It is best to get it now.

I bought this download back quite a while ago and have been using material from ever since. I liked it so much I pre-ordered the special edition and it was even better, with more material, but I am glad I ordered it when I did as I saw a copy of it on the big auction site going for considerably more than the pre-order price.
I was surprised how high the bidders had raised it. Maybe that might be because of how few were made but I think it has to do with the fact that the information on it is really good too.

Just wanted to update this for 2019. The old link won't work (the one that ends in .html) So here is the link. And the price is $29.98 for a digital download package that includes both volume 1 and volume 2.
