Hi guys.
Once again, I have a little special something to share with you all that I'm certain you're going to love. For many years, I have been enamored with Al Koran's "Note Under Cup" routine (based off a Hummer principle.) It is a location of a borrowed bill hidden under one of three opaque glasses. A common variation to the effect is to reveal the serial number of the bill afterwards. As much as I love the effect, there has always been a few issues I've had with the method. While you are turned away, the participant can freely swap two cups at a time and as many times as they wish as long as they call out the positions of the two cups being swapped each time. I wanted to get away from this entirely and have the spectators say NOTHING at all and not even have any idea of how many swaps they made either. Also, I wanted them to TRULY BE ABLE to swap the cups around in any fashion at all - literally 100% free mixing with absolutely NO restrictions. In addition, I end with the PARTICIPANT divining the serial number on the bill using "Serial Thriller" (available at my site) instead of ME - making THEM the star! How powerful is that? Well, "Neti Neti" achieves all of this with ease! The Koran effect is great, but I think that the main reason why you don't see it featured by more performers are for the inherent drawbacks I mentioned. If you could really do this for real, this is EXACTLY what it would like. "Neti Neti" uses a VERY simple idea to do this and has these features: - NO - the three cups are NOT m****d - No finger rings (or the things associated with that idea) - In fact, there are ZERO gimmicks! - No "hairy" issues. - Can use any objects that are suitable such as three shells and a pea, 3 bottle caps and a dime, playing cards, photos - the method is extremely flexible - Bill introduced at the beginning is the bill used throughout - Participant says NOTHING and NO questions are ever asked - Complete and absolute freedom in mixing without limitations - Participant also has zero restrictions and completely free choice as to where they hide the bill or object and your back is turned when they do so - No finger counting or mental calisthenics - Can be performed completely impromptu I think you're going to be tickled pink when you discover the method. Again, it is an EXTREMELY simple idea, but one that is VERY sneaky and deceptive. Again, if you could really do this for real, this is EXACTLY what it would like. As usual, PM me for a copy. I will happily send it out as time and energy permits for a limited time - so make sure you grab it while you can. Have a great day! |

Can it be completely impromptu for someone with no hair.

Aww c'mon man. I just want to turn water into wine. Just hide it in the ice cream, ok? You know you wanna...
I need it to start my new religion. I've already mastered "Swimming On the Land." At least sell me a blue one or a green one so I can do water to kool-aid. I'm gonna need lots of kool-aid to get this thing going... |

Sudo has mentioned this is a very simple idea - and it is. Delightfully simple, and because of this you can really concentrate on your presentation and build it up to a really nice finish. Also this effect can so easily lead on to others and could be a great opener to a sequence of items, including serial revelations.
Sudo has done a good job here and if the effect appeals, I strongly recommend. Neil |

Totally agree NeilS! I've seen a few of these over time, and this one is definitely the best in my opinion. I performed it for a buddie who's moving and it was an excellent goodbye to someone I'll likely not see again. Thanks Sudo.

Sudo's done it again! He's taken plots we're familiar with, methods that've been around for ages and used that to cook up something new enough, simple and effective! Once again, on reading his stuff, I found myself thinking "How didn't *I* think of that!?".
These past weks, two books have been published in France about the principle that's used. One takes the principle further, the other one I haven't read. It's a principle I've played with a lot myself. Sudo didn't take it further, I would even say he doesn't use it entirely: only the part he needs. And the result is so nice I couldn't help but laugh at the beauty of its simplicity Nicely done, Sudo! It's the third manuscript from him I get my hands on, and the third routine of his I instantly feel and urge to perform! For free! Over the years, I've shared a bit of stuff myself, without expecting anything in return (though many people did send me some of their work in exchange without being asked and that started some nice private sharing relationships), which means I'm familiar with that state of mind in which you freely share or offer. But Sudo wouldn't even let me do that --send him some of my own work. Yet, I enjoy what he gives and believes any work deserves some form of payment. So I went to his site and did some shopping. I haven't read what I downloaded a few minutes ago, but if it's not good, I'll reckon what I paid is a faire price for what I've already received. And anyway, seeing the quality of it, I doubt the PDFs that are waiting on my hard drive are not as enjoyable as Sudo's work I'm already familiar with! Neti Neti is going directly into my repertoire, thanks a lot Sudo

Bravo Psudo! While there are a couple subterfuges one can take to normalize what you have addressed here, your approach to completely eliminate it is quite superior to the final outcome. Wonderful thinking here! You have earned that red D'lite.

Not much more to say that what's been said by Cervier. Agree 100%. I have a few of Sudo's effects, and like the others, Neti Neti is smart, clean mentalism.
I can see it working well in a combination of effects. For example, I like to mix methods - and one of my "go to" effects is Promystic's RD. Combined with Neti, Neti - you can do a three phase routine. Phase one is a which hand using the RD die, which is a 50/50 outcome. You then use the die and three cups to perform Neti, Neti as a 1 out of 3 odds, then use just one cup and the RD die to reveal a 1 out of 6 choice. Anyway, thanks for sharing your ideas Sudo - Neti, Neti is another winner! |

Hi All,
Simple and to-the-point, as usual. I use a number of Sudo's effects and they are always accompanied by great reactions. I suspect this will be another Thanks, Sudo... Regards, Steve

Everytime when I am reading a new effect I am looking for ways to improve it. With Sudo's effects I'd be hard pressed trying to improve one.
This is another great effect from Sudo and with just a little thought it can be performed impromptu. And who doesn't love that? Thanks again Sudo. |
