In terms of hygiene putting a bill in your mouth is like liking a toilet. Pretty disgusting.

Just watched the download. Clever method, it's something I've been playing with myself. While I'm not a fan of putting money in my mouth, this can easily work as a standard TnR. Also with a little bit of work and swapping out materials, you could easily set this up to be done with a borrowed bill, which is how I had been doing it. Overall a really solid release!

Shows ripping the bill then just before putting into the mouth it looks different. You can see the bill is just folded. I would like to see a straight up demo not a misleading one.

This was obviously inspired by "Regeneration" by Blake Vogt, which is an excellent effect except for having to purchase the expensive refills. I agree that being able to make your own gimmicks as in Regrowth is a nice advantage but I just can't ever imagine wanting to put dirty money in my mouth. Perhaps Alan can offer some substitute paper options that the gimmicks could be constructed with that are more sanitary like a paper napkin etc.

I went ahead took the plunge and purchased the download from SansMinds this morning (they have a 50% off downloads today with a code). Everything is DIY, no provided gimmick. The construction and method are simple, and I will be using this in some form or another.
Regarding the trailer, the footage in front of spectators appears to be legit performance. However, the non-spectator shots in the beginning of the trailer appears to not use the prepared effect. Overall I'm ok with this purchase, and again, will use this in some form. |

DO you need to ruin a bill for each performance? Or 1 gimmick works for more bills?

Blake performed this on AGt with the 100.00 Bills I like It & NO Refills I like it even more ! I guess you have to ruin a Dollar everytime or maybe not ?
