I decided to brush off my Extreme burn tonight as I haven't performed it in ages, having played with it I quickly came to the conclusion that I had many years ago which is that I think I prefer the original Extreme burn over the Extreme burn 2.0 as I think it actually works better.

So for the ones that have been around for a while like myself and have both versions which do you prefer the old or newer version ?

I don't have the new version.
I guess because I don't see why
I need another one.The original
works fine for me.

I can't remember the difference between EB and 2.0, although I'm pretty sure I had both, and Heiny before that. I will say that I do enjoy the newer Locked and Loaded version, even though I didn't see a need for it.

The only difference between EB and 2.0 was the size and weight of the gimmick which I believe is the same as used for locked and loaded although I don't have it so don't know for sure.

I've used versions 1, 2, and locked and loaded. Personally locked and loaded is my favorite. The locking feature makes the handling super free

Hey Josh how do you go about minimising the outline of the gimmick showing through the bills ?

Perhaps you could send me a pm so as not to expose to much.
Thanks

When making the gimmick I made sure the backs of the bills are the visible sides. Since they have more complex artwork, it covers the outline

Also, you're not required to use the gimmick that comes with EB2.
You can use anything provided the size fits the bill and the weight fits your needs.
But the most important, in order to minimize the outline is the thickness.
I tried a razor blade but it wasn't heavy enough.
Next time I'll try 2 razor blades. Side by side.
When applying the rubber cement, leave an air cushion around the gimmick.
This will eliminate a sharp outline and it be a gradual change instead.
