"Quantum Leap is a strong piece of VISUAL self-working card magic that is very EASY to do” - Mark Traversoni
“Simple - Direct - Impossible” - Kieron Johnson The spectator chooses a card, the deck is spread and the card has vanished! You just choose where to reveal it. A simple and direct piece of card magic, FANTASTIC! - Zak Stone Blow their minds with the Quantum Deck and perform the impossible! The impossible location is a classic in magic - Gavin James has now taken this plot and constructed a deck that allows you to perform the impossible. You show a deck of 52 cards and hand half the deck to the spectator. They choose a card from your half and it instantly disappears reappearing in their half of the deck at a specific number! As an alternative the card can appear in any impossible location you wish - in an orange, on a window, in your pocket, in the card box - in fact anywhere you choose. Best of all the effect can be instantly repeated with a different card and the spectator can change their minds if they wish and select a different card! and did we mention....... · It's an easy to learn routine · No memory work required, the deck tells you all the information. · Self-working easy options for the total beginner requiring no special card handling skills. · Instantly repeatable. · Available in red for blue bicycle backs versions. · Gimmicks included printed on USPCC stock - use with your own red or blue bicycle deck. · Additional effects with the same deck shown, it's not just a 1 trick deck. · No Rough and smooth. · No sticky stuff! A bit more info here for everyone.
There is more to this deck than you might think and its very clever how it works. You split the deck in 2 and give them one half. A card is chosen from your half dribbling the cards or in other ways shown if you can't dribble cards, the spectator can change their mind if they wish. Your portion of the deck is spread and the card is shown to be gone, no sticky cards or rough and smooth. You then tell them the card is say 13 down in their half of the deck and sure enough it is. You can then repeat the trick if you wish with a different cards and outcomes. The great thing is the deck gives you all the information you need and even if you forget you can still tell them what number the card is at. Not only can the card leap to the other half of the deck you could use it to have the card appear anywhere with examples shown in the video. The deck is also set up for other effects that are shown on the tutorial so you could do a whole set with the same deck. Gavin has put a lot of thought into this bringing various principles together to make up this effect, it is very strong and goes down very well with live audiences as can be seen in the trailer. Available from us and dealers worldwide.

Sounds pretty interesting. I think I understand the workings and if I am right it is pretty clever. Would like to read a few reviews. Anyone?

It's clever, very usable. I like it lots. I have to say again that it's clever because it is. So relieved that R&S is not in use.

That was my Maine concern it was r&s.
Think I will take the plunge as I have a routine with cards disappearing and reappearing. It would compliment it nicely |

After watching the full performance on "insight " on Saturnmagic's site it's very obvious what the method is so thanks to Mark for showing it and saving me some money the tight fan of the cards to reveal it had vanished didn't look at all suspicious

What is the trouble with this trick? I hope Mark will put up more demos of what can be done with the deck. Its very hard to understand what everyone is talking about and what is wrong with the method??????

On May 23, 2017, King14 wrote: Hi There is nothing wrong with the method it is just strange how some run a trick down just because they think they know how it is done. The method is very good and workable which is the thing we strive for plus its very easy to do. This is far more than a card disappearing you can tell them at what number in the other half of the deck it has travelled to or reveal it in impossible locations of your choosing. It is instant reset and can be repeated with different outcomes, you also have very little to remember and if you forget you are still able to tell them at what number their card is. The other tricks show are Dr Daily's last trick, the 2 card monte, the biddle trick and Gary Jones 21 again (with permission). 4 great tricks you can do with the deck as well as the Quantum Leap. There will be others as well possible but all these tricks have a travelling kind of theme. Overall this is a very well thought out project enabling a number of effects to be done with the same deck.
