A SELLOUT AT CONVENTIONS AND LECTURES!

A deck is introduced.

Each card in the deck has a different back design.

2 face up prediction cards are set aside and the deck is handed to the spectator. The spectator(s) deals cards down onto the table. They stop dealing WHEREVER they want to. NO FORCE. The spot they stop at is marked by one of the face up prediction cards and then covered by the rest of the cards.

They pick up the deck and are asked to deal down again and stop WHEREVER they wish to stop. Again, the spot they stopped at is marked with a face up prediction card and then covered by the rest of the cards. The cards are then squared up and spread face down across the table. The face up prediction cards are pulled out along with the face down cards they marked.

Reveal 1 - The backs of the selected cards are the SAME DESIGN.
Reveal 2 - The face up prediction cards are turned down and the BACKS MATCH the selected cards (Red & Red, Blue & Blue)!
Reveal 3 - All 4 of the cards are turned over and the FACES MATCH!
Reveal 4 - For a kicker finale,

The deck is spread face up and ALL the cards are the same value and suit, but very different than the prediction and selected cards!

Self working
Everything Included
100% Accuracy every time.

This is a modern day homage to the classic Kaleidoscope Deck.

Isn't this Lennart Greens "Stolen Cards"? It sounds the same.

Demo not really necessary but I understand it always helps with decision making - look and feel of an effect etc.

It sure is, but the backs of my "Stolen Cards" deck look totally different than the card backs that I see on Eric's website, so I guess that it's OK.

The Koleidoscope Deck has been around for many many years and has been released many different times.

Stolen cards is just one of the many versions.

My Motley Deck includes cards from the most recent and most popular decks.

As in the ad it is a MODERN HOMAGE to the classic koleidoscope deck.

No demo at this time unless somebody can provide a performance clip from one of my lectures. Performance only please.

I'm on the road and have limited internet access. Please email me with any and all questions.

eric@ericrossmagic.com

I hope this clears up some concerns.

Just to clarify...
With Reveal 1, the backs of the selected cards are the same design (I'm guessing Rider backs) but one is red and the other blue?
For Reveal 2, the backs of the prediction cards match the backs of the selected card EXACTLY? Or are they just the same color?

Yes, Correct. Same design, one red, one blue.

"For Reveal 2, the backs of the prediction cards match the backs of the selected card EXACTLY? Or are they just the same color?"

They match EXACTLY.

I hope this helps.

Just curious, are there any improvements comparing to other versions?
I like the effect of stolen cards, I would love to get one if your version has something improved.

I just placed an order. I will post a review once I get it. I think we all know what this effect is, no secret there, The review will be about the quality of cards, The various back designs and how they contrast with each other, and overall customer service. I had an effect similar to this a while back where the cards were of such poor quality that they would not fan without clumping. They would stick to each other etc.

Are backs of the prediction and the selection cards Rider backs in each deck you produced, or do the prediction/selection backs vary per deck? Hope what I'm asking makes sense.

Trickyat86,
Yes, I chose Bicycle Rider Backs for final reveals.

I did this simply because it is most common deck of cards and would be easiest to change so prediction wasnt same 2 cards every performance. Smile

Armando Cheung,

I like to think so. Aside from better quality deck, ive included a couple new handeling ideas from myself and friends.

I really like this offbeat effect and Eric supplies some really nice cards.
I like that it is different and specs always seem intrigued by all the different back designs, it's just inherently interesting to most people.
And because of the rainbow backs you can logically go into this effect at any time without having to resort to a deck switch.

Kind of reminds me of the recent release Fortuity. I think overall Fortuity is an arguably more amazing effect, but this has the advantage of being self-working and because no gaffs are involved everything can be left for the specs to look at, and because of the collection of different backs people do tend to enjoy having an opportunity to look at them more closely.

I realized I had this same basic effect from years ago that had backs from all different casino decks. I like the Motley deck better than that one because the cards look more different and more interesting.

For the price, this is a winner for sure. I'm glad Eric released it.
