Hello all. I love using my turbo stick. However, I know one day I'll lose it. I was wondering where I can find replacements without paying for the video. I thought propdog used to carry spares

I've found that cheaper versions of plastic paddles, like the Whiteboard Bat or just those cheap paddles that come in kid's magic kits with flies on them, work just as well, even if they don't quite look as nice (not that turbostick looks elegant by any means!)

Prodpog carry them indeed, you have to look for "white acrylic paddle" on their website.

Do you have a link, I can't find it on propdog?

They seem to have removed the paddles from their websites... It happened before, I sent an email asking where they could be found and they sent me a link ! So you may want to try contacting them.

I wasn't going to contact them as I personally have no need for a new turbostick - I have spares from kids sets already . Maybe somebody will, though.

I don't remember. I was a lot cheaper than buying the whole set with the DVD.
I bought about 8 replacements. I use Turbo Stick all the time.

I like Turbo Stick but my one problem is that the paddle gets "nicked" or slightly chipped and the ink starts to smudge and the paddle becomes hard to clean. I bought a couple of them, but now I just buy a roll of "dry erase tape" for about $6 and just recover the paddle whenever I need it... works great.

I contacted propdog and they no longer sell extra paddles

Here's another possible solution: I was roaming through Walgreen's yesterday and came across "white board stock". This is white board type material on stock that is thin, not much thicker than 24# paper stock.
Maybe you could cut it to shape and glue/rubber cement it to your paddle and have an ongoing easy replacement procedure when it becomes necessary...? Julie |

Does dry erase tape work well?
