I´m going for a one week trip to Scotland next week. Me and my fiance are going to drive around, so we´ll go to a lot of places. Now, is there a magic shop you could recommend, somewhere in Scotland?

Uhhh...I can't recommend any, 'cos I've never been to Scotland, but according to the December issue of MAGIC magazine, there is a dealer in Glasgow named T. Shepherd & Co. I have no idea whether this store still is around, but try your luck I guess.

Yeah, Tam Shepherds in Glasgow. It's a shop on Queen street-I was there just a couple of days ago. if you need directions just mail me.It should be easy to find. Although, to be honest I wouldn't spend too much money getting there because it is quite a small shop.

Edinburgh has "Arcane MAgic" but I think they are more mail order than an actual shop.

Through Google I located a R. Somerville of Edinburgh, quoted to be "The world's most comprehensive dealers in modern playing cards from Edinburgh".
http://www.playingcardsales.co.uk/index.htm Their address is given as: 24 Hillside Crescent, Edinburgh, EH7 5EB, Scotland Phone: ++ 44 (0)131 556 8801 Also, the Edinburgh Magic Circle website is at http://www.muppetlabs.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/emc/ You can contact the secretary at: emcsecretary@aol.com Hopefully this info would be of some help to you. |
