Those of you who attended the Doomsday convention in Whitby, England will probably remember Adam Daniel's Any Killer at Any Number routine that he performed to universal acclaim in the bar area! I'm delighted to announce that Any Killer at Any Number is now available exclusively from my website! A ghoulishly spectacular take on the classic Any Card at Any Number. The PDF also includes 45 minute instructional video to augment the manuscript. Details at the link: http://www.readerofminds.co.uk/akaan_91.html

Hi Paul,
If you look in F.A.Q. top right of the page, and then search for "adding images". But then the pic needs to be on your site I guess. I hope this helps. Cheers, Luc. |

Thanks guys! That appears to have worked! Above image shows a completed prop. Full instructions included in the PDF, along with the math behind it and the presentation and script.

This was such a blast to see at Doomsday! I'll definitely pick up the PDF as soon as I'm able.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm incredibly proud to have finally published my first effect. I hope people can enjoy performing this as much as I have, and that it will allow people to put their own spin on it, or trigger some further out of the box thinking.
I have loved performing and developing this effect, and I hope you will too. Adam. |

I watched this on the night and simply loved it. One person named a killer (Ian Brady) and one person named a number (22) and Adam stripped away 21 killers, showed each as they were torn away and then at number 22 he slowly tore away a picture of Ian Brady. It is a really compelling and powerful effect. Real clever thinking and too good to be released (at least from my own selfish perspective). Simply famtastic!

It sounds quite good, but I have a question. is there any meaning for the effect? I mean, is just name a killer and a number or htere is a reason for do this...

It would be simple enough to spin any story you like around it. You could spook someone out by asking them to choose a killer, suggesting they have some affinity with that killer ... why did they choose that person? Suggest the spirit of the killer is paying them reciprocal attention. Then ask them to choose a number and tear the photos away, counting down, showing they're all different, till the requested number is reached, revealing the remarkable - and chilling - synchronicity that it is the named killer.
Or, it can be integrated into any other serial killer routine, counting down to a number, again showing all are different, till the killer haunting the evening's entertainment is revealed at the precise number called. Or, I still believe the best option is to play it as it was played at Doomsday: a wild ride of flamboyant extravagance, ripping killers from the nail with enthusiastic gusto in an exhibition of hilarious bad taste which leaves onlookers simultaneously shocked and laughing hysterically, lampooning a classic card trick, knocking 'em dead every time! |
