Hello everyone,
I want to share my joy with all of you. I just received some coin gaffs from Jamie, today. I received them less than a week after I sent my payment. That is outstanding turnaround for made to order custom gaffs. I ordered his re-edged walking liberty shell set and I am so incredibly satisfied. The shell fits perfectly, and cannot be detected from the side because of its depth. The coins are perfectly matched, and the set feels great in and under my hands. Honestly, I'm elated. Jamie also sent me a couple of re-milled English pennies that fit the silver shell perfectly. Think of the possibilities. I have been using Todd's gaffs for the past few years, and they are perfect as well. His reputation precedes him, and he deserves all of the accolades he gets. The man is truly a master craftsman. I just thought it should be known, that now there are at least two people who we coin men can absolutely rely on for top quality, professional level items. The world just got better. Eric Grossman

I agree with your accolades of Todd's work. I have lots of it, and have always been very happy with his work.
I also have a selection of Jamie's work heading my way to critique. I'll be doing a review of it at http://www.coinvanish.com after I get it. |

Yup, I'll vouch for Todd's expertise as well. I'm playing with my most recent aquisitions as I write this. Although I've only seen pictures of Jamie's ^ coin and Swadling coin, I'd have to say they look very good. As I mentioned to him a little while back, as soon as I recover financially from my last splurge session, I'm planning on checking out Jamie's work first hand.
Best, Mike |

I actually have also purchased Jamie's Ultimate re-edged set and must say that it is exquisite. The coins feel incredible in your hands and they make palming a breeze. Like Eric stated above the shell fits almost completely over the coins and is undetectable. Furthermore Jamie is a great individual and very helpful. I look forward to doing more business with him.

Sean,
I'm glad you mentioned that, because I forgot to. Jamie is so easy to deal with. He was absolutely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with everything I inquired about. I can be a pain in the rear when cash is on the line, and he went out of his way to make me very comfortable with our dealings. Eric

Eric,
Did he send you "in process" digital photos of your coins before you got them? Dan |

Jamie's work is great! I recently received a re-edged e] set + a swadling coin (fits into the e]) - all in Kennedy Halves. I have compared these two gaffs with the ones I own from Todd.
Jamie goes a step further (or deeper with the e]) and the swadling coin is in fact better than the one from Todd: no visible rubber is a great advantage! I personally find the remilling done by Jamie more natural looking. I got a custom S&S set from Todd which is 101% worth the price. Both are not only fabulous craftsmen—they LOVE their work, they are artists. So both of them are first choice.

Dan,
Yes, as a matter of fact I did receive digital photos of my coins, before they were sent. I thought it was a nice touch. For the life of me, I wasn't sure which coin had the shell on it from the photos, either. LOL. Maybe Jamie was playing a joke on me. Eric

I was so pleased with the e] set I got from Jamie, I ordered the re-edged set and my first Swadling. Received both sets within a week of ordering them. Just incredible quality work.
And the near real time digital photo updates are more than one would expect. I really do not want to put these coins down. They are addictive. Jamie Schoolcraft you are amazing. |

I just got a re-edged set with Kennedy halves, a re-edged swadling flipper, a copper/silver coin, and a milled down English Penny. Couldn't be happier, they are gorgeous.
Also, Jamie is extremely reponsive, he sent me pictures of the coins before he made them, and sent me pictures of the finished coins to hold me over since he missed the ship date by one day. Considering the whole thing took less than two weeks, missing the ship date by one day was not a big deal, but just an example of customer service above and beyond what I would normally expect. I have some of Todd's stuff too, couldn't be happier there either, I guess we're lucky to have so many pros like this making gear. |

Magic Hands, look on his site. The working is same, but the amount of the coin that shows and the edgwork is fantastic. Look close at the photos on his site (link in previous message).

Yes, as Pete says, it works like any other flipper coin, but it's the way it is made that makes it very deceptive. I showed it to some pals the other day and they were knocked by how good it looks. As far as the re-edged part, you can read the explanation on his shell page. The re-edged swadling flipper fits in the re-edged shell, opening even more posibilities.
