It must be a cultural thing in the US because in all my years doing stuff with star signs I have yet to meet a single person that doesn't know their star sign. Interestingly even out in Saudi the few people I have asked have known their sign although that is likely because the clients I work with in Saudi were often educated in the UK.

Mind you, I was in texas recently, someone asked me where I was from, I said london, they weren't sure where that was so I said England, they knew where that was, up north near Canada!
Another time I was in Wisconsin, someone asked me where I was from, I said England, they then asked me what language I spoke! Maybe it's understandable that Americans don't know their star signs |

As Mark says, I've never found a participant that didn't know what their star sign was but I'm sure they exist. There's also nothing to stop you having an image on your phone with the star signs and dates on them, which you could show them at the beginning, in the event that they don't know their star sign.
And funnily enough, we've included one on pages 55 and 61 that you could always take a photo of! Ed Wood (no relation!) that reminds me of a time when I as at Cocoa Beach with a friend, who introduced me to some local girls as "My buddy Steve from England." They asked me which part, and I said "Just outside London" before one of them said "Oh wow, London. I was thinking of going there today but I decided to come here instead." She made it sound like hopping on a bus. |

Just read through the .pdf final draft today after only working with the initial variation Pete taught me months ago. There is A LOT of new stuff in the book itself and the production quality will be top notch!
I recorded a full easily watchable and effective review that will be going live by morning. Stay tuned everyone, we are just waiting on Final Cut Pro and YouTube at this point. XX, -Jacob |

So how about an overview of how this will work. Obviously there will be some fishing and questions, but how many? Are there any worst case scenarios where it will seem to be one big fishing expedition? How long does the process last? Is it 100% and if not are there outs built in?

Although I'm involved in the process, I won't get drawn into a discussion re. methods because I think it's for Pete to decide what he wants to say and when, and I've seen many threads start with genuine enquiries that descend into a guessing game which I don't think it's fair to play. However, I do understand the desire to know more about it. The routine is almost 100%. There is one part that isn't but in testing by Pete and others it has repeatedly been very close to 100%, with ways of dealing with it, and the wider routine still works out perfectly. To me that's one of the things that makes it special in terms of propless effects. Once practised, it takes roughly a minute and a half - though of course you could make it last longer if you wanted to. Pete can now do it even faster than that. There isn't really a worst case scenario, but it could be argued there is for about 3% of the time - in that case a single extra line of scripting solves things, and there are 3 alternative ways of handling it included (there are more but we had to stop somewhere!) So the difference between good and bad case really is minimal. That's as much as I'm comfortable saying but I hope it will help to answer people's genuine questions without getting further into a guessing game re. method.

The process is simple -
You guess there star sign - Instantly tell them the month- You get them to think of a name- Reveal the name- Reveal the date. Believe it or not there is no fishing for letters with the name, as soon as you know the amount of letters in the name you can guess it - Getting the amount of letters couldn't be easier. As Steve said there is only one piece in the entire routine that is very, very close to 100% - (of course human error and other factors play a part in it not being BUT you've got the same variables of missing if this was a billet piece - someone might not writie clearly or not write at all) - I've outlined multiple ways in video form to ALWAYS bring this to a stunning conclusion, it's not something that will even cause you an issue in the routine. Like I explained this has been an obsession I can now put to bed - I wouldn't say that if there was a better way for me to do this. Someone asked me the benefits of using this over a billet p**k - my answer - try doing a p**k when you have nothing on you, or over the phone/ skype - Each method has a benefit all I can finish by saying is - I reveal a starsign, month, name and a date in a minute and ten (it takes me more than that to bring the billets into play, then wait for the participant to write their date of birth and a name), then p**k, then work out the star sign, then reveal the information. PLUS This routine is made up of two/ three routines - which you can use as standalone routines! The name divination can be used solo - quick, clean and devastating. Pete x |

I see that my statement about people not knowing star signs caused a bit of a stir haha.
It is true for me, in my particular (conservative) area of the US among the group of people I perform for casually (college students.) I do agree the females usually know theirs more than the males. But I also don't use star signs in my work simply because I'm not fond of them. It's as simply as that really haha. I actually believe this routine is better without having to get star signs involved. The "problem" with performing this for friends is they would need to come up with a date to focus on rather than their birthdate. This would mean they would have to do a google search or something similar to know the sign. (And if they are going to do that, I would simply use Inject and then with no questions or procedure at all, I could tell them the birthday and sign.) So for me and my PERSONAL performance style, I opt to perform this without mentioning star signs. It technically takes away one reveal (the star sign) but then again, to me, it makes the birthday reveal that much stronger since it seems you don't know any information about their birthday. No matter how YOU choose to perform it, you will get killer reactions. As Pete and others have stated, you can kind of pick and choose what works for you and modify the routine to fit your own personal preferences and performance styles. Madison |

I just have to know for sure if it will work in my language (Hebrew) Peter, I would appreciate if you could answer (not that I don't trust you Café's folks but I have to know it from first source otherwise I'm just wasting my money..) -Yarden

If you want to put the time in then you'll get something out of this. Plus pre-order is a cheaper cost than the retail will be, so if it's not for you and you keep the book pristine you will make what you paid for it back if you decided to re-sell. If you are not wanting to put the time in skip over this, I would hate for you to not take anything from this xx |
