Someone expressed in this thread that they personally feel I've not brought anything new to the table.
Uri Geller disagrees (this is his reaction to seeing me perform Is3 and a few other signature pieces). https://youtu.be/y4QQcPdJ9pI Pete x |

Can't afford to book you Pete! But I had enough for the pre-order IS3 Uri Geller - what a legend! Remember racing upstairs to gab a watch off my Dad during one of his shows!

I was really excited after reading BMWGuy review and Madison posts. After reading further things ahead, I'm having mixed feelings atm...
Proteus have replaced my previous ventures on mental approaches. If this one can change my mind remains to be seem so, I'll wait a little longer.

The Duster, I wasn't actually "burned"... it's just that a recent one didn't meet my current criteria (you know... the one which my review had "put you off").
IS3 in particular seems promising as the "no math" is refreshing, but I'll wait a little longer because this review mentioned aspects that pulls me off: https://mentalismreviews.wordpress.com/ You see, my language isn't english so, I have to be extra cautious with some things. Plus, there's something there that resembles one of the two worst purchases I've ever made ever (don't ask!). Furthermore, I'm not that much familiar with Peter's work. At this point, I'm almost praying for this to be as good as I imagine... but I won't get my feet out of the floor. So, I'll wait a little longer before I decide if this one is for me. Cheers

Given that I think I also own the other product (s) that you reference, I will say that I think IS3 will be more precise, in that there are only so many places the spectators mind can go (if you catch my drift)... I still think the other product you mentioned is a great contribution to propless, however agree that it didn't quite live up to all the marketing claims.... ( certainly not 100% on all spectators) and almost certainly required additions that were not in the book to make it more sure fire. As regards to Pete's material, I have generally been happy. As with all effects, some are for you and some aren't, but what I have found with Pete's releases is that even if you don't end up fully using them, there is almost always something to take away. I think this will be killer..... time will tell |

There are principles and subtleties-and more importantly, an attitude- contained in Peter's thinking that you can apply to your other work in the area, including Mind-Peek. If 'Mind-peek/Proteus' is like a kids bicycle with stabilisers- Peter's work is like Evel Knievel jumping his motorbike over twenty double-decker buses: more daring, but if you can pull it off, infinitely more spectacular. |

Proteus is phenomenal. When I said one of my worst purchases I was referring to a Fraser Parker effect (Rose, which was supposed to be a better version of ouija, I don't know which is worst). My concern with Isabella Star 3 is one related to language and other related to an approach that I think is very weak... hopefully I won't find any of those cases here. I think I catch your drift "there", but I see more than one "drift" so, I'm not sure if I got the correct one. Thank you for your thoughts. Cheers

From your comparison with a motorbike, I'm assuming his approach is more bold. Bold is no problem as long as it's worth it. My concern is that english isn't my language and the aspect of the approach. Keep in mind I got Proteus and worked it out by myself. I'm assuming there's something different here.

It sounds like an odd thing to say and a possible contradiction in terms, but Peter Turner has really been exploring, along with others, the idea of invisible compromise within prop-less. The fact that we all knew what was going on in Proteus/Mindpeek after watching the video once is actually an example of what I'm talking about. With much of Peter's thinking that would be very difficult. If both Proteus/Mindpeek and IS3 hit in the most direct manner then they will be very powerful. But naming someone's exact birth date and thought-of name prop-lessly is, to me, a rather more impressive feat -and rather harder to engineer- than asking them to imagine doing a child's drawing and revealing they've drawn a house or a stickman. All just my opinion, of course. |

The books will be with Steve on the 11th - (this coming Monday) It was a large order and Steve has really done his best to get these through as fast as possible for you guys.
I went with the more expensive book so you guys are in for a treat. In the video files I also address working this in a different language there is a full video dedicated to it. It will require work but I've had three people from three countries tell me it is possible. Pete x |
