In U.S. currency, were any magnetic coins ever made in penny or nickel size?

I believe in about 1943 or 1944, the US minted steel core pennies

1943 steel pennies were made.
1943 silver nickels were made. I'm not sure of the percentage of silver. |

Sorry, not magnetic. But copper plate steel pennies can be fun.
Once saw a magician toy with a BIG magnet and some Canadian coins. That was interesting. Faking magnetic attraction using trickery can look good. Think "red snapper" using two coins.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

Do you know what are some 'lightly' magnetic quarters? I have a couple of magnetic quarters, and they stick quite nice to the lid of a jar, but it takes something more than a 'light' touch to make them drop. I'm looking for ones that are magnetic, but less strong, so they can drop easily.

I want to avoid using the s****d coin because the lid will need something attached to it, and I want to end as clean as possible (I start dirty ). I thought about the thickness of the lid, also, I thought about adding some 'bumps' so the coin is not flat to the lid, so that would make less contact, thus less force to drop it.
