I can't believe that SOME gaffer hasn't released a magnetic version of Penny / Dime, rather than bang Ring version.
Does anyone know of one available?
Thanx

I'm not familiar with one that's commonly made - I imagine the magnet would have some thinness requirements that are a little tricky. But I'd bet you could get a custom one made relatively cheaply. I know Roy Kueppers makes a locking one, for example.

That's exactly what the original poster was asking ... if one existed.

Steph,
let me see what I can do for you. The locking type wears quickly. Do you want an older penny or newer?

I would LOVE to get even a non-locking set (I routinely do Acer's Spare Change. The penny shells are easy to find; the c/s insert not so much.

Can't you just buy a CS dime/penny like this one: http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/5991
or Roy Kuepper's http://roykueppers.com/coppersilver.html for the insert?

Note that the latter might not fit in all shells - I don't have it, so haven't tried.
