Magician Dan White freaked out the easily-freakable Jimmy Fallon on June 30.

Having studied several approaches to this wonderful plot in the past (the creative Aldo Colombini, the re-inventive Harry Lorayne, the real-time predicted Lennart Green, the blindfolded Bannon, the in-the-hand-attempting Ben Earl etc.) I never saw this 3 pile variation before.
Or did I forget simply about it? Smile

Of course it’s clear what’s going on, I’m just curious if what we saw on Fallon’s is original to Dan White?

I was wondering that myself, Nicolino. I recognized Aronson's underlying plot, but I wonder if this is Dan's original spin on it.

Lots of nice touches, particularly the time-delayed kicker with the photo.

I understand the Instagram thing is a necessary part of advertising but honestly, I wouldn't do it myself.

I know I have seen this before, but I forget which plot it is. I believe something similar was on "fool us"?

Hmm... I don't want to fish. But, I would love to know what version of Shuffle Bored this is?

I'm in the process of learning it for about the sixth time, and this is the best version I've ever seen.

Does anyone have a link or a suggestion where this version came from? It was like a full-deck Shuffle Bored. He shuffled the deck at the beginning and it didn't look like a false shuffle.

Is this the Gilbreath principle at work? I am stumped.

No, it's no false shuffle. But a controlled one. Heck, he even checks the outcome right under your nose.

Apart from that, think of a bit of jazzing when it comes to the three piles.

That's all that differs from the published versions.
Does that help?

Hello
This is one oof the first trick that I learnt when I was a cardician but, frankly speaking, I forgot the source when I found it

Any hint?

Thanks/Fabio

I remember that both Aldo Colombini and Simon Aronson did something similar
Any help about the names of the routines?
Thanks

Just watched Pre-Deck-Ability again. I must say, this is my favorite handling.

I use an iPad for the three revelations, which I think gives it a modern touch. Never have liked the Ali Bongo folded paper idea, although there's certainly nothing wrong with it.

This is a slightly simplified handling, I suppose. And, I think it's great.

Simon Aronson, Aldo Colombini, Paul Green, and Harry Lorayne all have variations of Simon's original "Shuffle Bored " trick, which is based on a Bob Hummer idea.
