Sorry, glossed over this before.

Month Displays Incorrectly - activate this if your month is showing 1 off. Meaning if it should be June and it shows May, activate it. Mostly this shouldn't be needed now, but one or two countries have regional wonky-ness that means we have to leave it in.

Ignore Reveal Before Clear - If this is active, the app will not display the "peek" screen until the Clear button (c) has been tapped and the screen cleared. Personally I think this is just troublesome but some people seem to like it.

The reason I asked about the age/birth year thing is the most common reason for the reveal to display incorrectly is when the information is entered incorrectly. For Americans we're used to doing dates MM/DD/YYYY so the default of DD/MM/YY for Cipher trips some of us up. Make sure the order is correct. For the Year Mode (Birth Year/Age) - if this is active (green), it's expecting the person's age and will show you the year they were born in the peek screen. If it's inactive (white) then it's expecting the two-digit year, and will show you the age of the volunteer on the peek screen.

Is the app matching the design of iOS 12?

I only use the basic force a number to be honest. Perhaps I should read the manual too someday.

It has a lot of potential with the information that can be gathered in a seemingly innocent process. Revealing that information is the hard part, though, otherwise it becomes transparent.

I’m wondering If anyone else is having problems with the app. Can’t get the star sign to show neither the age. I’ve toggled all the correct switches but to no avail.
Any help out there?

Apparently Cipher does not function with IOS 13. I wish I had known that before adding it onto the ‘How to read minds’ Kickstarter. Very disappointing. It looks like a great tool, surely they knew they were going to have to provide updates.

That’s curious. I have an older phone with IOS 12 and it’s behaving the same way. Not working on either. Star Sign comes up as unknown. The rest of the information is crammed into several of the calculator buttons. Unreadable.

There might be a setting on your phone that needs changing. try contacting them for help?

Yes, maybe it’s something simple like that. Hopefully. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now my license key doesn’t work. Grr. I sent them an email. I have a request in to join the Facebook group - I figured there would be quick answers there, but no one has approved me yet. (Since early this afternoon.) Nothing like watching an hour + tutorial and then realizing the app doesn’t work! Thank you, though, AJ.

How does one view the tutorial? I’ve had this app so long and still do not know 90 percent of its potential.
