Many years ago, Jeff Prace shared a trick with me that sparked something new, and we’re so proud to finally share Withdrawal with you! There have been many visual “pop-out” style tricks sold over the past year, and we truly believe this is the best one yet.
Here are a few key points: - Insanely visual - Fits in your wallet - Quick reset - Custom-made gimmicks included - Gift card is 100% examinable with NO switches - No sleight of hand Here is what others have to say! "I love the moment you create REAL cash in THEIR hand. Visual magic at its finest!" - Eric Jones "A visual clean bill production that looks like a camera trick. It's easy, fun and relatable. Plus the best part is that the card is examinable!" - Patrick Kun Watch the trailer to see just how visual this trick is: And as always, Jeff and I stand behind this product 125%, so if you have any questions, we are here to answer them! Here's the link: http://www.murphysmagic.com/product.aspx?id=58852

The editing is a little deceptive and I'm pretty sure I have heard that song in other magic videos before but a lot of that royalty free stuff sounds the same. I do like that it can be handed out (even if they didn't really show that happening clearly)

Sleepy - Thanks man!
Kozmo - You know Jeff, he loves stuff that you can find In Your Wallet Stucky - Nothing deceptive about the editing at all. What you see is 100% what you get. No frames were cut, nothing was sped up, and when I take the ten out at the end, I'm really doing the actual moves taught on the download. When I toss the gift card on the table, that's the moment you hand it all out and are 100% clean. Also just want to let everyone know that this is available in Dollars, Pounds, Euros, and Yen. On the download we cover customization, so as long as your currency has one of the following symbols ($, £, €, ¥) you will be able to perform Withdrawal

Koz - awesome!
Tophatter - the reason we went this route is because we wanted to be able to end 100% clean without a switch. As a worker, that was super important since having to do a switch of the bill at the end wouldn't be the most practical for table hopping, considering that's when the heat is on it the most. Additionally a gift card with a value of $14 printed on it simply doesn't exist, so it creates an impossible object. Magic KL - correct! You'll want to make sure you purchase the USD version and simply refer to the customization section of the download. A few of our beta testers are Canadian, and they've been having a blast with this!

This looks really good guys - good job. Just wondering if in the pipe line you may be considering making up different cards/designs apart from Starbucks?
Thanks |

Not sure I'm clear on the effect, it appears to have 2 phases.
First phase a one dollar bill visibly jumps out of the $25 gift card, leaving the gift card saying $24. Second phase you pull a 10 dollar bill out of the card (with back of gift card facing specs) and then when turned around the gift card now says $14. Is that correct? Any variations possible? I'd like to see a full routine start to finish as it's hard to tell what is entailed and how many, if any, switches may be involved. It's often easy to show parts of a routine in a video, but when it comes to doing it in real life it becomes impractical, or at least a nuisance to carry around. Can you hand the money you've just produced to the cashier? I may really like this I just can't tell from the video. When parts are cut there is almost always a reason and it's almost always disappointing. |

PRINCE - At the moment no, but maybe if there was a demand for it? We went with Starbucks because of how universal it is. I actually don't drink Starbucks, so I use that as part of my presentation.
videoman - The first phase is you make a one dollar pop out of of a $25 card, so that it now says $24 (alternatively this can be a slower production, which Jeff covers). You can now either pull $10 with the back of the card facing them, or by shaking the card in front of them and a 10 appears (both are shown in the trailer). Either way you end up with a $14 card. There are absolutely zero switches of the card involved. And the performance where Jeff and I pull the bills out was actually shot 7 times from start to finish, and just edited together so that it was a fun little story. What you see is what you get. I perform twice a week at a local restaurant, and this is part of my repertoire, so this has been worked in the real world. The one is immediately examinble, and so is the card. The ten is as examinable well, as long as it's the last thing you hand out. That being said, out of the hundreds of times I've done this, only one person has ever asked for the ten, as in the context of the routine it makes sense why you hold onto it.

Ok thanks, I was just thinking even if you kept the same design but left the card brand less, this could be so much more appealing to buyers. For example you would ask if people have got the gift card from the reception in the hotel, venue, location etc and go into it from there. It could be easily more incorporated into the performance than have to have it limited to a Starbucks tag line I guess - fingers crossed the demand will be there as I feel you would not only sell a lot more but more versatile when performing.

I'll discuss it with Jeff. Originally it was going to be a generic gift card from a steakhouse, but from talking with a lot of people, they felt Starbucks, as such a recognizable brand, would be the best way to approach it

I don't think a generic card would make sense. Better to have something that is actually based on a real thing - hence a Starbucks card. A known object defers suspicion on that object more than something brand less. Plus Starbucks are so ubiquitous.
My only question would be when Jeff picks up the card from the table and performs the effect immediately. It implies that what is on the table is the gimmick and is able to remain unactivated until needed. Is that true? Looks like a cool effect though. Especially the double change. Nice work, guys! |

I think the video was edited, you can't perform this as in the video, hence the multiple cuts.
Or maybe I'm wrong and this is revolutionnary

Disagree, with a brandless card it is more logical and universal to use in performance and you can adapt it more to your environment than limiting it to a Starbucks intro. With a brandless card you can utilise this and incorporate it more into any presentation e.g have you seen the new gift card the hotel is selling, have the restaurant mentioned about the new gift cards etc. The problem with it being branded as Starbucks you are limited with the tag line into but with it being brandless it's more adaptable to incorporate into your performances and tweak it accordingly with the logic why you are introducing it.
So yes it would make complete sense |
