Just received my dozen block of the Brooklyn Playing card Company's 101 back blue deck
as a native Brooklynite I love having a card from my home borough. they handle pretty well and I really like the joker design, and Brooklyn bridge design on Ace of spades I recommend them. anyone else get them yet? |

They're awesome. The marking system is a great improvement over the original Red edition. Best factory-printed casino-style marked deck I've ever seen.

Hi,
can somebody please clarify some things for me, regarding the BLUE Brooklyns? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1-Some sellers say these are made by the Brooklyn Playing Card Company, others by the Expert Playing Card Company???? 2-Also some sellers in the UK are saying their decks are Second Edition, Isn't it rather soon for a second edition? 3-If there are two editions, are the markings the same on the second edition, as this seems to be the one that's available in the uk? thanks Art

I have a 1st edition blue deck and a second edition red deck.
The system is the same....But, I find that the marks are more subtle and deceptive on the second edition red cards. I personally thought the 1st generation blue cards were too easy to see....I like the, more deceptive, 2nd generation red vs. 1st gen blue. The second generation cards are also slightly thinner and more flexible for a better "feel" than the first generation decks.
