Dear friends,

Inject works with any smartwatch that supports notifications.

I rarely perform with a smartwatch (because I think it could telegraphs the method), but when I do, I use a Pebble Round.
I also don't like using smartwatches because I don't want yet another device to worry about battery life or bluetooth connection.

Most of the time I prefer peeking at my phone from my pocket. The way that I structure my routines, I have many perfect moments where I can peek without anybody seeing it.

Also, if you choose to perform without your smartphone, peeking on another borrowed phone, is SUPER SNEAKY (and very motivated).
When you perform with another borrowed phone, your audience can BURN everything you do, and they will NEVER catch you peeking at anything.

When it comes to your thirteen year old discovering something in the history of their phone, it will NEVER happen.
Inject erases ALL signs of itself from the iPhone history.
The only time a URL is left on your spectator's phone, is when the effect that you're doing requires your spectator to type a URL.

In those cases, there's no need to hide the URL, since the spectator typed the URL themselves.

There are currently THREE base URLs that you can use with Inject ... two of them look like Google URLs and one of them is just very short (so you can type it fast).
Based on the routine that you'll perform, you can decide which of the three URLs you will use.

For example, some people prefer to use a Google based URL for the image effects like Houdini's eyes.
Others prefer the short default URL for Houdini's eyes because they can type it faster (less dead time).

Inject is very versatile.
Greg

P.S. We will be making a BIG announcement of a NEW URL very soon ... stay tuned.

If you type in your personal URL will it erase itself from Android memory? This is such a great effect you want it right. Thanks for the info Greg.

Inject is a great App. I have obviously purchased it, however, I would never dream of paying $500 for it nor have I ever thought that I might. Greg's enthusiasm is admirable, but to state that, 'Everyone that has purchased Inject thinks that I should charge $500 for it!'......... well, that is just nonsense.

Agreed. Although to a working pro, quite possibly.

I believe Greg that keeping up with operating system updates that you have no control over is a tedious process. We all want our favorite app to be top priority, but he's the only person who knows which is top priority for his business, and we all need him to stay in business or nothing gets updated.

Perhaps Greg's best option really is to start charging $100s of dollars for each one of these apps - or even move to a subscription model for the whole suite- so those of us who are willing to pay would have a more exclusive product, he wouldn't have to spend the time quibbling in internet forums, and he could afford the team he would need to be releasing updates at the speed you demand.

Here and on the FB group, it does get very tiring of newb's asking the same questions over and over. Perhaps the manual could use further tweaking / additions... maybe add a novice to the manual review team ? I dunno... It took me about a good week of reading, watching videos to really get my head around Inject. But once it clicks, it's PRICELESS ! There is SO much power here guys ! Trolls, please leave !! Inject is trick of the year 2017 in my book !!!

If you can’t understand the difference between describing an effect and the mechanics of its operation, you’re gonna have a bad time in the magic shop.

nuur: “What does it do?”
Demo man: “Great classic trick. The spectator turns over a card from an invisible deck and when it turns visible, their card is the only one face-up”
nuur: “Amazing! I’ll take it!”
[10 minutes later]
nuur: “LIAR! Fraud! I’ll sue!”

Dear friends,

I've had many people message me regarding Ran Gafner's performance.

This performance is done completely with borrowed phones using the new feature that David Penn created in Inject 2.0 (we call it delayed reception).

Both of the phones that you see in the video were borrowed from spectators.

All the best,
Greg Rostami

To what extent can I use Inject on an iPad if I don't have a smartphone?

Or will that really limit its potential dramatically?

I tried the free version of the app, and liked how the ESP test worked.

There's no technical reason you can't use an iPad, but how limiting/freeing it is will all depend on the type of routine you're doing. For some of the routines it might be impractical, like swiping inconspicuously in your pocket. For others it might be even better, for example the web album type routines make a lot of sense with an iPad and the larger device makes a great reveal for the audience.

Hi EndersGame,

Inject does work on an iPad.

But, as CR_Shelton has said, some of the functions will be difficult to access with an iPad.

Keep in mind, once you get Inject, you will perform some of the most astonishing effects even if you have NO technology.

The video of Ran Gafner (see above) was done without him using any of his own technology ... his phone is not being used in ANY way during that performance.

I hope that helps,
Greg

Hi Alex,

Inject generates standard local and push notifications.

I'm not too familiar with Zetime, but I'm sure there must be a setting that will turn on notifications from Inject.

Let me know how I can help,
Greg
