$70 for the product, and another $70 for the video instructions?

The Inject manual already includes video instructions. These videos show both performances and explanations of many of the included effects.
It also includes a complete written manual that describes all the features.

The webinar is optional.

Those of you that aren't following the Inject 2.0 group on Facebook are missing out on some killer effects. Sean Goodman just shared an effect using the Hotel Key template, modified to work for the 3 CCV digits on the back of the image of a credit card. FANTASTIC effect!

Brief description: Magician asks all spectators to take out their mobile phones and go to the magician's website. He has them click a link at his site that loads a photo containing various different objects (including a face-down credit card). Next he has everyone turn their phone face down and asks who in the group can name more than 5 of the objects in the image they just looked at. After some banter about subconscious memory the magician picks 3 people that remembered the most items in the photo. He has each of the 3 people name a number between 0 and 9. Let's say the spectators named 7, 2 and 8 (it's completely a free choice). Now the magician explains that it's amazing how, not only can some people remember major objects in an image, but some people even notice the finest details and it sticks with them. Wouldn't it be amazing if that was the case for this test?

The magician has everyone turn over their phone and zoom in on the CCV number on back of the credit card. It's 728!

WOW!

Very powerful effect. I performed it for friends yesterday and it KILLED.

Thanks for sharing. I have not used Inject that often, as for some reason, I have the hardest time with getting a 4G LTE signal in some parts of the city. Inject is powerful, but due to sometime not getting a faint signal, I have depended on other things for gigs, etc..... I will dive head back into Inject. The Facebook group is truly awesome, and it has helped me shorten my learning curve.

Had this app for awhile now, really want to use it more. Can't seem to find complete explanations for all the demoed effects though. Went through al the supplied documentation and still don't quite have a complete understanding of all the features. Where are the instructions for the hotel key effect? Or the ones demoed above? What am I missing?

Unfortunately the manual for inject is very similar to the manual for conducting a safety test on a Soviet RBMK Nuclear Reactor. F@@@@@@ useless.

The Hotel Key effect is a bonus effect that was added after the Inject 2.0 manual was created. Hotel Key was added on December 22, 2017 and was announced in the Inject Users Group on Facebook. Multiple effects that are based on Hotel Key (such as Sean Goodman's CCV effect) have been announced on the Inject Users Group on Facebook.

When I first got Inject 2.0, I was a bit overwhelmed by the number of available effects. I was even more overwhelmed by the ability to custom configure so many different settings and features within the app. I *still* don't completely understand every single aspect of it but, thanks to the Inject Users Group on Facebook, I understand a lot more of it than I would have by just relying on the built-in manual.

The Inject Users Group on Facebook is basically PART of the manual. Greg recommends the Inject Users Group within the actual manual. The group is an official part of the Inject system. And it was a smart move on Greg's part because he is able control who gets admitted to the group. Only those that have actually purchased the Inject 2.0 app can enter the group and only those that are members of the group can see the contents of the group.

If you aren't a member of the Inject Users Group on Facebook you don't really have the full user's manual. But even after you are a member of the Facebook group, you have to dig in and work toward understanding the more intricate features of Inject. That's where the group comes in oh so handy. If I have a question, I can post it to the group and it gets answered very quickly. The amount of "user helping user" is huge in that group. And it's a level of discussion that simply won't happen in this forum because there are people reading this message that don't even own Inject. Not so in the Facebook group, everyone there owns the app.

The built-in manual wasn't useless for me. Once I really took the time to read it, watch the included videos, it greatly improved my understanding of the Inject system.

Does the built-in manual cover everything? No. But Greg has a solution to help with that. See my post above.

WOW! You've been in a Soviet RBMK Nuclear Reactor ... AND you read their safety manual?! Smile

The Inject manual covers all the features of the product, step by step.
The manual includes videos that show both performances and explanations of the included effects.
There are many other videos on YouTube where I and other users have shared their performances in every venue of magic you can imagine.
I'm always answering my customers' questions either on the Facebook group or here on the Café.
I often call customers on the phone or Facetime/chat to resolve any issues.
As Magic Mark has already said, the Facebook group is a wonderful community of over 4,800 users that help each other by constantly posting tips, tricks and ideas.

ALL of the above is FREE and is included with your purchase of Inject.

Dearest pegasus,
If you have any questions about any part of Inject, please ask me.
I'm here for you brother.
You can reach me here on the Café via PM, Facebook, Skype, email and if you want to call me on the phone, I'll give you my mobile number.

All the best,
Greg

"Do you taste metal?" 😁

Kidding aside, I do appreciate the complexity of the app, and I am on the Facebook group- but a lot of that is also layer upon layer of ambiguity, so to speak. For instance, doing a search for hotel effect there brings up several presentational ideas, but little on how to get started. Somebody also mentioned hours of pain-staking work put in towards etch-a-sketch (or something like that) imagery, but no details or current links.

Tempted to begrudgingly pay for the seminar, but will be seriously bummed if it's not worth the money. I'm a photoshop guy and have all kinds of ideas; looking forward to getting started.

There is a LOT of information in the Inject Users Group on Facebook but it is easy to find stuff in the Group by using the "Search this group" feature on the left side of the screen (using a computer browser to access the group). I typed "webinar" in the Search this group feature and instantly found this full listing of features and effects covered in the 6.5 hour long webinar:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/30743916......9408140/

Typing "Hotel Key" (the actual name of the effect) in the Search this group feature found this very first post in seconds:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/30743916......3642308/

Note: Those two links will only fully open for people that are ALREADY members of the Inject Users Group on Facebook. Everyone else will be deposited at the join the group page for the Inject Users Group.

It’s worth the money because it absolutely helps...and should be included, not sold as an add on.

And I agree with Pegasus, lord help me Smile

I recommended to Greg that he should sell the app for $150 and include the webinar with it. Then there would be complaining about the entry price but it would be from folks that aren’t his customers.

I hope he takes my comments to heart when he releases Inject 2.5.

About the online recorded 6.5 hours seminar, does it cover some of the details and ideas that have come with since Inject's initial launch (the Hotel Key, Lazy Inject, etc.)? Or,is it just a rehash of the Inject Manual?

I am not interested in learning the very basics (e.g., what is a transmitter and receiver, the documented effects in the manual), but I am very interested in seeing the newer features explained in detail (e.g., Google page matching the Google page and how to troubleshoot this, other tips like Lazy Inject, best practices, and other tips/methods not included in the manual).

I hate, HATE Facebook, and I find joining private groups a waste. A lot of idle chatter when an effect/book/gimmmic/tool is released to only die months after the release date. Inject's Facebook group is not like that. It is really good and there are tons of magicians helping others.

Any reviews on the 6.5 hour streaming video who have bought it?

Hi Mysterious One,

Thank you for your interest in the Inject Webinar.
The 6.5 hour webinar goes into details that are both in the manual as well as advanced uses (including Lazy Inject and the new Hotel Key).
It is not a rehash of the manual ... it covers concepts that could not be included in a manual.

Thank you for your kind words about the Inject Facebook group.
Every day I'm amazed at the level of support users give one another as well as all the clever ideas people share.

Here are a few reviews of the Inject Webinar:

"I purchased the webinar when it came out - If you’re struggling with anything, it is an amazing guide from Greg!" - Timbo Lichfield

"This is like a mastermind session with a coach. I paid for it, and it’s worth it." - David Meade

"Both the APP and Webinar are worth way more than I paid because of what I am getting out of them." - Mark Call

"The webinar is brilliant." - Rowland Valentine

cheers,
Greg

I'm surprised Greg hasn't posted in this topic about his forthcoming Inject 2.0 Seminar. He announced it in the Inject Group on Facebook. It's from 10am to 6pm on Thursday, August 8 in Las Vegas at the Orleans hotel. That way, those attending Magic Live 2019 can just stay a bit longer to attend the Seminar.

The cost is $95 and it includes a link to the 6.5 hour webinar. For those that have already purchased the webinar, Greg is offering a reduced price for the Seminar. Details are here:

https://www.facebook.com/events/481652689249220/

Now, if only Matthew Wilson is able to ship me one of his Wilson Magic Remotes before Magic Live. He told me he's waiting for some backordered parts. Fingers crossed they arrive soon.

Hmmmmm. What I was doing was... well, I found the multiple uses of the words 'webinar', and 'seminar' in the Mysterious One's post amusing, so I was playing off of that, and... oh never mind. Perhaps flatulence jokes and Goshman Dong-type humor is more your speed. Toeachhisown, as they say.
