Interesting. Sounds like it may be a rehash on what was covered in the webinar. Looking forwsrd to hear everyone's thoughts on the webinar and the upcoming seminar.

For me, Vegas istoofar, even though I haveacar. Guess I'll just go hang out at the localbar.

And practice putting spaces between my words when I’m typing.

Hmmmmm. What I was doing was... well, I found the multiple uses of the words 'webinar', and 'seminar' in the Mysterious One's post amusing, so I was playing off of that, and... oh never mind. Perhaps flatulence jokes and Goshman Dong-type humor is more your speed. Toeachhisown, as they say.

VM- reading this back, I think my response sounded a bit condescending, which was not my intent. Just having fun, that's all.

No offense taken. I thought you were just a rapper moonlighting as a magician or vice-versa...Smile Hey, after bumping into a Mormon missionary years ago that was a rapper and claimed to have a freestyle battle with Eminem, anything is possible....

This is interesting and has a lot of potential. I need to use Inject a lot more to justify the subscription costs per year. It is more expensive than other non-magic software I use (Todoist, Evernote, etc.) It sounds like a one man shop, and the magic market is small. So, my initial thoughts are the that pricing is not bad at all. I really like the improvements to Inject shown on the site. If it works as well in the real world, it is definitely something to consider for Injectors. Thanks for sharing.

I'm surprised Greg hasn't posted in this topic about his forthcoming Inject 2.0 Seminar. He announced it in the Inject Group on Facebook. It's from 10am to 6pm on Thursday, August 8 in Las Vegas at the Orleans hotel. That way, those attending Magic Live 2019 can just stay a bit longer to attend the Seminar.

The cost is $95 and it includes a link to the 6.5 hour webinar. For those that have already purchased the webinar, Greg is offering a reduced price for the Seminar. Details are here:

As Mark has already said ...

I'm very happy to announce:

Inject LIVE Seminar

Over the last four years, Inject has become an ESSENTIAL tool in the arsenal of the modern magician.

This one of a kind event, focuses on the most requested, most useful, and most important Inject concepts.

You'll learn:

* The basics - What are transmitters, receivers, and how to use them.
* How to perform - The subtleties, patter, and the technical details that will make you a MASTER Injector!
* Using Inject for pre-show - Learn how the pros use Inject as the ULTIMATE impression device!

We're very privileged to have Ryan Edwards from Canada as a special guest.

I perform an Inject routine (basic google peek) mixed with Risk by Francesco Tesei (staple gun roulette routine), where I ask a lady to shoot from one of the randomly selected staple gun if I'm wrong (of course I'm purposely wrong 3 times, the tension builds and I copy Drew Backenstoss's jokes on his penguin live act when he used Risk, and I'm right the last time and go on to prove it was indeed the loaded staple gun).
This routine goes very well and adds a different flavour to my act, a mix of tension, jokes and wow for the final reveal of the word.

I received my Wilson Magic Bluetooth Remote to use with Inject. The Wilson Magic Remote is MILES ahead of those cheap Gamepad Bluetooth remotes that I've been using. The Wilson Remote connects instantly with my iPhone and my testing indicates it is 100% reliable (the cheap Gamepad remotes are FAR from 100% reliable). The Wilson Remote can even be turned completely off (convenient mechanical switch at the bottom edge) up until the moment you need it. Then, just turn it on and within 2 seconds or so it has reconnected with the iPhone and it's ready to go. Works perfectly EVERY time.

I will be using Inject much more frequently thanks to the reliability of the Wilson Magic Remote!

Here's how the Wilson Magic Bluetooth Remote (bottom) compares to the common cheap Gamepad remote (middle) and a deck of playing cards:

The Wilson Magic Bluetooth Remote is also thinner than the cheap Gamepad remote:

Thank you, Matt Wilson, for producing such a fine product!

BTW, the remote I received is a slightly newer design. Matt has added a couple of new features to the remote with this latest batch. He's building more next week.

Can it interact with any other apps? Or is mainly just useful for Inject?

What is the cost?

Thanks!

The Wilson Magic Remote is designed to send directional keystrokes, not letters or other commands. As such, its usefulness with other apps is questionable. Inside a text editor on my iPhone the Wilson Remote can be used to move the cursor around (just as directional keys would be used) but that's it.

Matt Wilson designed the remote specifically to be used with Inject. You don't even need to "train" Inject's controller function to work with it. It works with Inject right out of the box, just turn it on and pair it with the iPhone.

The Wilson Magic Remote retails for $165 plus shipping. A bundle of cash for any magician but it is absolutely worth every penny if you are serious about performing with Inject.

I have used the Airturn Digit III. It works great as well with Inject. I also use it a few times to control music during my show on my Android smartphone connected to my Amazing Amp.

It is SO easy to palm it and still have your hand look completely natural. Then it can be operated with your thumb. You can literally have your hand resting on the table and press the buttons with your thumb with your hand in plain view. Looks completely natural.

It looks easy to palm. It is very small. The cost makes me shudder a bit, not the design.
