Hi all, I'm also very late to the party

I've just downloaded the free App and cannot find any instructions for the ESP trick that came with the app.

From what I can figure out, I can only "see" what the spectator has selected on the website if I look at my iphone. This however, is not how the trick was presented by Greg, as he puts his phone face down on the table, and then asks the spectator to predict which symbol Greg was "thinking of", and then he turns his phone face up to reveal that the spectator was correct.

Many members here confirm that the trick can be performed exactly as Greg shows it in the videos, so I am wondering where I can find the instructions to do the free ESP trick?

@patapon, you’ll need to purchase the full version of the app to perform any of the effects you’ve seen demonstrations of. The free version is just a very feature-light intro to the app, and isn’t (from what I can tell) really intended to be used with a spectator. More of a proof of concept.

If you own Inject, you do get access to an ESP effect which executes roughly as you stated!

Take a step back and look at the bigger picture for a moment... The two tricks you are describing wouldn't actually require separate methods, would they? You've let Greg's presentation confuse you.

Yes, I am aware that all the effects are only possible with full purchase of the app.

However, it is clearly stated in the App Store that "The free version includes a mind blowing ESP effect", but there are no instructions at all on how to do this effect.

To create more confusion, there is a video of Greg showing the ESP effect (where he gets the spectator to read his mind as to which card he selected), which I now understand from Posiedon, can only be done with the full purchase.

I am fine with that; I'm just asking what is this "mind blowing ESP effect" that comes with the free App as stated? Or is that misleading altogether, since I can only see the spectators selected card if I look at my iphone.

As for Shelton's post, I'm sorry but I can't see the bigger picture, so would really appreciate it if someone could help me to understand the following:
1. Can I actually do the ESP effect that Greg shows in his ESP video with the free App? At this point, I am thinking that it cannot be done with the free App, but only with full purchase?
2. What exactly is the "mind blowing ESP effect" that I can actually perform with the free App? Would it simply be looking at my iphone to tell what card the spectator has chosen on his/her iphone?

Unless I am completely misunderstanding what is included with the free version, the answer is yes, you can replicate the effect so that it looks exactly the same.
I have sent you a PM to discuss further.

I'm looking at this Vs. Telefoto. I would like to find effects that I could do with someone over the phone. Or via text. My understanding is I could do that with the Telefoto technique.

Could it also be performed, without the spectator in the room, using Inject 2?

I just thought that with Inject 2. You kind of had to touch their phone. Can I essentially perform "TeleFoto" with Inject 2?

Hi Conrad,

Yes, you can perform teleFoto like effects with Inject (and a LOT more).
Inject supports most modern smartwatches (any smartwatch that supports local/push notifications will work with Inject) ... teleFoto does not support any smartwatch.

There are two features that teleFoto has that Inject does not:

1. teleFoto can vibrate your phone, Inject can not.
2. With teleFoto you can easily customize your effects by uploading images to our servers for free ... with Inject you have to upload your images to your own server.

There are many effects in Inject that can be performed over the phone/facetime ... the spectator does not have to be in the room with you.

We have just added a NEW preset to Inject 2.0:

ACAAN Random

With this preset, you can perform the ACAAN effect that we all love in Inject but the order of the numbers in the album is no longer sequential (the numbers are now in a random order).

The video below shows the numbers in sequential order ... they are no longer that way:

Important information for those who either own a My Kronoz ZeTime or considered purchasing one for use with magic apps like Inject 2.0 there has been a new update in the last week which has fixed the notifications and is now works perfectly with Inject 2.0

Interesting, why can it not vibrate your phone? Seems like a great feature to have.

Inject will vibrate your phone as feedback for a variety of things.

It currently does not vibrate to indicate what has been selected.

The pros and the cons : Here is the core of my review, let's begin with the cons, as I will usually be doing, I prefer to keep the good things for the end.

THE CONS :
 As I said, for some routines (most of them), you’ll need an internet connection.
 You will have to touch the spectator’s phone at some point, which can lower a bit the impact of the routine. In some cases, it is justified because you have to write a prediction. But you’ll have to construct your routine in order for your spectator to forget that you handle their smartphone.

THE PROS :
 Well well well, where to start? First thing is that in most (if not all) effects, your phone is never seen. I think doing magic with a borrowed smartphone enhance the whole routine because for your audience, you don’t have any props on you.
 The versatility of the app is amazing, you can do a lot of routines and what I love is that not all routines look the same, you could do a full show with only Inject!
 If you add a little smartwatch to this, you could become god in seconds, imagine, you have nothing in view, they type in any word, and you guess it! Is there anything purer than this?
 This is so good if you want to promote yourself, you can use it with Facebook for example. In those digital marketing days, this is just perfect.
 Have I mentioned the Facebook group? It’s the best I’ve seen in magic, people are helping each other and providing new ideas and routines. It’s very cool to see this product alive, evolving and going through all those steps.
 The app is fully customizable to your own pictures, website, anything! Make it your own, so that your spectator will experience a real miracle.
 I don’t know how they achieved that but there is nothing dirty on your spectator’s phone at the end! Even if they go back on their brother, they will find nothing but a simple Google page. 100% clean!

Overall rating : I like this so much I bought a smartwatch especially for it, I have it on me at all time and I can perform miracles with nothing but the spectator’s smartphone. I can, without any doubt, say that this is the best magic app ever, 4/4 hearts.

As for the difficulty level, it will depend on the effect you want to do but most of them are easy, just make sure your routine is right, I would say 2/5 stars.

There are many effects that you can perform with Inject where you never touch your spectator's phone.

For example, if you ask your spectator to go to your Facebook page and look at your last post ... you can have a photo that predicts a card or a time or anything you want.
As you said in your review, this is a great way for a magician to promote themselves (since your spectator is left with an amazing prediction on the magician's Facebook page).

You can also leave this impossible prediction on THEIR Facebook page ... this seems even MORE impossible since your spectator knows that the magician can not edit their facebook posts.
