Is there any good websites where you can download free MP3's to use for background music for magic? I'm aware of the Allisonbackstage.com.

Thanks!

Opus 1 Productions Free Download Page I've just picked up some of their CD's and the music is great at an awesome price, as well you can download stuff from their freebie page and they'll email you a license if you decide to use a download in your show.

They update from time to time so check back often.

Markis,

Just to let you know, the songs on Allison's Backstage are NOT free, nor may they be used in your show without permission. Allison simply lists the songs that Copperfield has used (and has paid royalty fees for) in his productions.

Check out http://freeplaymusic.com . I think you'll find what you're looking for.

Hi,
freeplaymusic is not free. You have to pay for a licence to use the music in public.
I have found that if you register with some of the royalty free music websites, they will give you a few for free. (www.opuzz.com gives you 10 for free if you register with them). Also there is http://sonnyboo.com/music/music.htm which is free.
Hope this helps.
Sam

Listen to free stuff from Opus 1 and then buy the cd's. They are worth every penny. Especially, if you learn to do a little computer editing.

I like to search on http://www.alltheweb.com
they have a music search.
