Detroit hires an official "chief storyteller"
Needless to say he's not a transgendered Latino of Russian Jewish descent but rather the former editor of "Blac Detroit" magazine.

Is he the teller of "official" stories, or the chief in charge of all story telling. I see value here, but not sure what to applaud.
Maybe they are going to replace the traditional prayer to start meetings with a humorous story, or fairytale from the daily news.

Go look at BLAC Detroit magazine. www.blacdetroit.com and see if there's a cultural bias.

We used have storytellers here in England who would come in and tell a story in exchange for a meal and a place to sleep which is a bit like a TV except they didn’t eat electric.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.
