What a worker piece... Looks very good !!
AD COPY: As used by DYNAMO on his hit TV Show ‘Magician Impossible’. KEYMASTER is an incredibly organic close up routine with multiple moments of magic happing right in the spectator’s own hands. It takes the moving hole plot to new heights as the impossible happens right before the spectators eyes. Comes with precision made custom keys that make this effect easy to perform. The new KEYMASTER keys are now profiled to look like cut keys. They are slightly shorter in length making them easier to handle and now they are finished in beautiful polished CHROME. The Effect 1: Two keys are shown to the spectator 2: Spectator holds onto one of the keys 3: The hole in your key is visibly removed. 1st W.T.F moment! 4: Spectator discovers two holes in their key. 2nd W.T.F moment! 5: Spectator now holds onto your blank key (with no holes in it) 6: You visibly remove one of the holes from your key. 3rd W.T.F moment! 7: Spectator finds a hole in the shaft of their key. 4th W.T.F moment! 8: Everything can be examined! W.T.F 9: Precision made keys and an instructional download supplied. "W.T.F. When is that out? I need this! Alan Rorrison “A great solution to the moving hole plot. Brilliant!!” Tom Elderfied “This looks brilliant and the final phase was totally unexpected. Two strong moments of magic that happen right in the hands of the spectator!” Marc Oberon “That is definitely a worker!” Brendan Rodrigues “Wow I need that now!” Julius Dein URL : http://www.worldmagicshop.com/keymaster-......g-petty/

Is this an upgrade, new version, better version, then Keymaster, and Keymaster reloaded? I don't get what this is..

It's Chrome, the keys are cut and they look a little bigger like house keys. That's what I see

Yes, exact same effect just upgraded the keys so they will last. I love Keymaster! I never got into the additional phases that required the extra set of keys but the original is fabulous! Though, I think if I would have put the time into working the extra keys I would have liked that as well.

How knuckle busting is this to do?

Looks pretty nice using the keys. Reminds me of an updated take on Sankey's classic, "Holey Moly." Sorta surprised no one mentioned that, in a "What's old is new again" sorta way. Just the same, it looks pretty good.

Looks like an incredible gaff that is self working in the handling if I know what's going on here. Reminds me of a silver dollar trick I have where you can rub off a side of it and smear the writing on the other side.

If you can finger palm a key you will be fine. And these keys will be much easier to handle since they are smaller.

Cool Thanks RNK.. I think I will have to pick this up.. And I read on some other threads that you can use this with Pro-flight.. Not as the same trick but one to lead into the other or something like that.. Will have to read up on it as I have Pro-Flight..

I have the original and although its good always thought the effect would have been better if the keys were silver in colour, I also thought it would have been easier to perform if the keys were a little smaller not that it's difficult to perform and finally I thought it would have been better if the keys had been cut.......They have now resolved all those issues so I'll most definitely be upgrading and picking this one up, can't wait

My original inspiration for keymaster was obviously Holy Moly. I wanted to put the effect onto something that a person might actually carry around (who carries washers!). I then realised you could add an extra really strong moment by having the hole appear on the step using no additional gaffs. The routine Gatekeeper which is always on the dvd allows you to go even further and visibly slide the hole down the stem of the key. These new keys looks better and are much easier to handle.
Hope that helps Craig. |

Is that part included on this new set Craig where you visibly pull the whole down the stem onto the head of the key?

Didn't mean to be a bug on this, I just immediately saw the comparison and was a bit surprised that it had not been mentioned (Perhaps it wasn't that "obvious" to most others)...But good to hear that that's where your inspiration came from, as that was winning idea. While I think the effects are quite similar in purpose and routine, I still like what you have done in using keys that perhaps do even more as to the effect. As to "Holy Moly," well, I would think a lot of people carried those little washers with them for years now, and for a coin worker it was a great way to angle off to a relative type closeup effect...It's a classic for a reason. But I will agree with you here that the use of keys brings in an element of a more everyday object. So with that, much luck with this, and who knows it might even find its way onto a keyring of mine real soon, because I do think it's pretty neat and welcome the brand new look of it all. Good job with it, and keep up the great work on the YouTube show...I'm a fan of it, and your magic as well.

Marion I too was and still am a big fan of Holy Moly however if I was at a paid gig especially a corporate function Holy Moly would look out of place where as Keymaster would be much more suitable for that environment in my humble opinion......i can't wait to pick this up at the LADs convention
