Just got an email about this new release. It says that Touch comes with a custom made deck, but you see bicycle cards and other cards in the demo/pictures. I wonder what cards it actually comes with.
http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/9134 Ad copy: Touch is a mind reading miracle. Before any thing happens, you remove a joker from the pack, and write a prediction on its face. The prediction stays in full view, as the spectator touches a card. Turn over your prediction and it matches EXACTLY, every time, with any card. No forces, no secret writing, no rough or sticky cards. Touch comes with a custom made deck that secretly handles all the predictions for you, with no difficult moves at all. It is so clever that it even allows you to repeatedly use the same jokers as prediction cards, so it resets. In the video we cover everything. you will learn Handling's for multiple spectators. How to customize your deck to most back designs, and multiple routines for close up and stand up. And what I love about it, are the reactions you get. Because Touch is built on a strong method, its so fair and clean, your audience will have no way out.. Everything you will learn here has been inspired by the original Paul Curry Touch routine, which you will also learn. |

It states in the video that the teaching includes how to customize it to almost any deck.

Does the deck come with the predictions pre-printed OR can I write the predictions , so that they match my handwriting?

There is nothing pre-printed. So yes, your prediction will match your handwriting.

See Just Name It by Jay Sankey. The same effect as Touch.
https://youtu.be/_nMG6IOZ9pE I find "Storm Force 7" by Martin Sanderson even better. Very strong efect. I find it better than "Just Name It" by Sankey. Another advantage with Storm Force 7 is that it uses a normal deck of cards, no specially printed cards, or similar gimmick cards like DF or DB. http://www.magicianpalace.com/storm-forc......224.html Or you have "Corporate Close Up" DVD by Martin Sanderson. On this DVD he explains his "Storm" Force 7": http://www.rsvpmagic.com/corporate-close-up/ |

I tried your links for Storm Force 7 and neither seemed to work.

If my understanding of the trick is correct, the deck is not examinable at all, and it can't even be spread face down, which is a serious limitation for a deck of cards...

I have it and am happy to have pulled the trigger. What I like especially with this version is the fact that the prediction gets written on a Joker card an not on a regular card.

Is the Curry version in print, or is this the first time it's being released?

Found it, Waters...thank you! The effect is as interesting as its history -- there are more than three pages of small print in WORLDS BEYOND that describe the history. Fascinating reading.
