Brand new from Steve Cook come ID,

If you’re looking for a super strong opening effect your search is over!

ID is Steve take on the named card in wallet plot and is perfect for stage, parlour or close up.

ID will make the perfect opener for any show.

Image opening your wallet and clearly showing a bright red envelope sitting inside. You now have your spectators each take part in the process of creating a playing card. Once the value of the card has been decided upon you open your wallet, remove the envelope and from the envelope you remove just one card (back to the audience to build the suspense) now you slowly turn your card round to blow their minds!

ID works awesomely as a prediction effect or the spectator reads your mind type routine.

Everyone who knows Steve Cooks creations including the best-selling effect Symbol, Volition and The Stealth Case knows that Steve creates real world commercial workers we streamlined methods.

ID comes complete are ready to go with

Full Training DVD (Including additional routine Ideas)

High Grade Genuine Leather Wallet

Custom Made Gorgeous Red Tyvek Envelopes

Custom Ride Backed Bicycle Cards Printed By The USPCC

ID is super easy to do and is perfect as a stand along piece or mind reading or suggestion and can easily be used as part of a multiple reveal!
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

It looks like effects like On The Mark and Inferno. Wonder if the method is different.

Custom US playing cards is telling us equivoque is obviously used so it's already easy to get inferno streamlined to one card without any changes on equivoque throughout and also with on the mark . So as David Klass quite rightly says what are the differences . Best wishes Tarik 🙂

I much prefer Bang on by Marc Oberon as I don't like to engage my spectators in prolonged interviews lol

My friend Mick Wilson has this & gave me a great idea (little change) which really ups this alot.

Will see this in person in the next few days as wasn't aware of it until last night.

It's by Steve though so I know it will be good.

Horses for courses.

You can compare it to similar effects as the EFFECT IS THE SAME AS MANY DIFFERENT RELEASES.

Know the method with talking to Mick & by watching the performance as well.

It's just a matter of how you want to achieve it.

As I said above though Steve Cook has wonderfull solutions to fantastic effects.

Nice release from Steve & Peter.

AGREE... Can't beat Infernos presentation. (Many alternative handlings also.)

Personally, I would only ever use this if the e******ue is consistent, throughout (as it is with On The Mark).

I will wait to see if this is the case here.

In my view, being unable to show the entire face of the card makes ID a step backward, compared to On The Mark. Almost as important, with OTM you can show the envelope empty after the card is removed.

I believe Mark Elsdon originated the handling of Equivoque used in OTM, which appears to have been borrowed for ID?

As for Bang On, you can't have the wallet out in plain view the whole time, to me a fatal weakness.

I've been using the "large wallet" version of On The Mark for both parlor and strolling, and so far it's the best solution to the plot I've found.

Cheers,
Jerry

Please don't compare Bang On with this trick or On the Mark.
Bang On is 10 X stronger. (for an intelligent public), but not so easy.

Hi Jerry do you actually have bang on and if so do you use it. The reactions from it are people go mental. It is so impossible that they genuinely can't get there head around. I have done it hundreds of times for all different types of people from high flying corporate to mums dads and kids on halloween this week. The reactions are always the same. I've never had anyone say about the wallet not being out in the open before the card was named.
They don't want to look at the card, the envelope or the wallet. They don't want to check my pockets for other wallets. The effect looks so clean it blows them away.
Stop thinking like a magician 😀

I use the highly recommended Quiver (GLitch Studio) wallet for the "OFF BY ONE" effect.
Only uses two gimmicked cards and you can show the Quiver empty after taking out the folded card.
