Good afternoon from the great state of Maine, USA. Newbie here. Recently began getting back into magic (card tricks) to entertain the grandchildren. Back when I was a boy I was pretty good, now I'm working to regain some of what I knew then. From what have seen, this is a great group.

Welcome DarrenWilliams,
Are you re-learning the tricks you liked before or are you trying some new stuff? Don't worry about being rusty, it might not all come back (our magical interests change over time and Grand Kids will like more visual Magic) but most of the things you could do before will come back with practice. You will have the advantage of seeing these tricks with "new eyes" (older eyes. LOL). I'll see you in the Close-Up fora. -Mary Mowder |

Looking back you seem to have a fondness for these memories as a child, maybe this is like re-connected with ones self in a way. While also creating new bonds with your grandchildren now. Was there moments when you as a child was shown a piece of magic that really stuck with you? Do you think the impact of this had any positive outcomes on your life as whole?
Nice you came back to the craft. |

Great to see you have come back to magic! Performing miracles for your grandchildren is wonderful and might one day even spark their own interest in magic
