Toay, I want to tell you about a product which is amazing and produced by Magie Factory, the company who created the Venom

Product description : Benjamin is a very good French magician who is running, with a few friends, a new magic company called “Magie Factory”. I’ve already reviewed their compact box which is the smallest Lippincott box on the market, which is a joy to work with. This is their new release which is an updated version of the first which was put on the market a few years ago. The idea is simple, you take a photograph with your phone of the spectator holding a mystery card, you hand them your business card to place into the deck so people can freely choose one. You show the selected card, let’s say the 2 of hearts, you show the mystery card and it happens to be the Joker. People may think you screwed up but you show the picture on your phone and the card the spectator is holding is actually the 2 of hearts ! As a big finish, they turn over the business card and there is the picture of them holding the card printed on it ! They can keep it as a souvenir ! It’s just a presentation possible, there is a lot more you can do with it !

What you get : You get a very nice magnetic locking box, very sturdy and embossed with Magie Factory logo. Inside, you will find all the necessary in order to do the effect, nicely packaged in precut foam, it feels great ! You the main gimmick which costs a lot on its own. It has been specially modified so you can a thicker paper in it. You also get the explanations on a USB stick, specially printed with Magie Factory logo, you’ll find several videos which will teach you how to do the routine and how to use the gimmick. They asked me before shipping my unit to give my business card design so they can check if it works and they will print 30 units for you. So you can do the trick 30 times before having to buy refills again. You get a belt holder if you don’t want your gimmick in your jacket pocket. You also get a deck of card with a special treated card so you can perform the effect. Overall, the quality is outstanding, they took the best of their routine and put it in this package, the price is well worth it !

The pros and the cons : Here is the core of my review, let's begin with the cons, as I will usually be doing, I prefer to keep the good things for the end.

THE CONS :
– The trick is expensive but the price is completely justified because of the material provided, and the fact they won’t be 15 years old children explaining it on Youtube.
– It takes a little bit of space in your pocket, but there is the belt holder if you want to have it elsewhere.
– The size and quality of business cards won’t be the same as your current one.

THE PROS :
– This is one of the strongest effect I ever did in close up, it’s so powerful because it’s an impossible routine.
– It’s very easy to do, you can do it right after taking out of the box.
– You leave the spectator with an impossible souvenir, a picture of them holding a card at the back of your business card which is the best way for them to keep it.
– There isn’t a single presentation with it, they provide you with a main routine and several ideas in order to something else than a card trick with it.
– The quality of the whole thing is outstanding, everything is provided in order for you to start playing with it as soon as you receive it.
– The refills are very very cheap, it will depend on how many you buy, they can vary from $0.35 to $0.60 per performance.
– They take care of printing 30 of your own cards, so each order is actually “hand made” by the company, you feel privileged.
– Speaking about Magie Factory, the customer service is amazing ! They will take care of any trouble you have with their product.
– There is a Facebook page about the trick so if you own it, you can exchange ideas on it. I like this idea because it can provide new routines and it makes the product a little bit more alive.
– If you don’t have a business card, they provide you with a design, you just have to put all your details and they will take care of it !

Overall rating : I must say this is one of the best trick I do, if you work corporates or wedding, this is a must have so you can leave a memorable souvenir to your audience, 4/4 hearts.

As for the difficulty level, it’s really easy to do, even the technology part of it is easy, I would say 2/5 stars.

Similar products : I don’t know any trick which is similar to this, as I said, it’s a rather unique thing !

Wow that's sounds very interesting. Been toying with the idea for a while now. I do something similar where a freely though of celebrity appears printed at the back of a chosen and signed card. But it's not instant, either needs an assistant or or some kind of pre-show.
Alexis, if you go to Blackpool, please bring it with you. Would love to see this. I still owe you a beer
