Does anyone know where I can get some "Multiplying Bubbles" ... that is, the billiard balls made to look like bubbles? Quality would be an issue. I have bought nice symmetrical ones in the past, and have also been sent cheap, uneven ones. I don't need anything more than some spheres and a shell. My thanks for any info.

Try abbott-magic.com. It was a regular stock item with them.

Thank you, Alan. I didn't know it would be so easy!
By the way, FYI, Abbott's is located at abbottmagic.com The abbott-magic.com address puts you into a search engine with pop up windows, and the desire to reset your home page. I imagine you already know that abbottsmagic.com does the same thing. I bet the folks at Abbott's just love that - not! Again, thanks. pp |

You might also want to investigate the new (to me) bubbles that can be caught.
I purchased a small orange test tube of them at Bed Bath and Beyond. I love to support magic shops, and find magical items in other locations. Harris

Harris - Yes. The billiard bubbles have been on my mind lately, but I had done nothing about it. But last month, when I heard of the catch-a-bubble, that gave me a push, and I became all the more interested in getting the billiards. I haven't bought the catch-a-bubble yet, so I am glad to hear that it gives good results. Thank you.
Alan - The bubbles arrived yesterday and they look fine. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. pp |

I'm not familiar with the catch-a-bubble. Do they behave just like other bubbles?
What is the color of magic?

They harden a bit, and can be handled. This item is available to the public.

I purchased the Abbott "Soap Bubbles" about 6 years ago, and the set I received had VERY visible seams. Are the newer balls any higher quality and do they look realistic from the audiences perspective.
Please let me know - thanks! |

I don't know yet how they look to the audience, but I just got mine in today. They are hollow, small, and have very visible seams.

The current bubbles look as they have in years past - visible seams. Use care in lighting.
pp p.s. Flash finish is not available, but the Bubble To Elephant payoff is pretty effective. |

Perhaps i may make a suggestion.
use the shell from the abbotts, but go to a plastic suplier and get solid Acrylic balls of the same size. I have used the balls from S/W plastic in riverside as bubbles. they have no seems and they look great. Michael MacDonald |

Yes, Michael I too would be interested in their contact info. Paula, how much do the Abbott's multiplying bubbles cost for a set? Also, what is the price on those?
I meant price on the acrylic balls? What size are the abbott's bubbles? |
