Niko, when you play a card game do YOU leave them in?

No. No I don't. However I think Pauls comment is a good one: if your routines require them, then leave them in. I personally am not used to leaving the jokers in so I don't consider it normal, but maybe that's just me...

I've kept the Jokers in my decks so long it just doesn't feel natural for me to perform without them.

I see in no way the spectators being suspicious of the jokers. You're a magician, they should be suspicious of YOU (if they are suspicious of anything at all).

I think jokers in a deck are the last thing on their mind.

The only time I leave the jokers in is when I plan to sneak a peak of a card while under the premise of removing them (jokers).

I usually take them out unless I am going to do some routines which involves writing on a card in that case I usually take it out seperatly tell them why I use the joker ($$$)(this is ofcourse only for people I know otherwise I sneek it and force it anyway..but let them see the deck, eventhough they wrote on it let them be convinced that there is only one!!)

and about setting up. It is good cover to take them out but have you tried searching for them (I thought I had a joker in here.... search setup search, go through them again..... setup.... oh well I must be wrong...)
works pretty good for me

I take them out and have started saving them up.

There's a Mike Close routine - the name of which escapes me - I think on Workers 1 performed with a pack of jokers. Would work with a blank faced deck, but I like the look of the joker pack - it pulls a punch.

Don't have 52 yet!

Take them out and use them for NFW spares.....

I treat them for Monkey in the Middle and them take them out. If I use them, terrific, if not, that's okay too. I also like Joseph's idea!
