Can anyone show me a performance of a natural looking, hard hitting miracle miracle by Frank Garcia? I haven't seen one yet☺

Piracy reminds me of doping in sport, it’s more an ethical problem than a law one. Each person set the limit in different levels.
One example of situations which arise very often : you have magician’s friends at home, one of them has brought a dvd but not the original because as me, he has made a copy of it (allowed if you have the original) because he doesn’t want to damage the original (I’m doing the same for some of my books, I’m copying them and put them in spiral binding so they stay open easily and I can carry them anywhere without fear to loose or damage them). At the end of the session, he leaves you the dvd for a while so you can watch it again. Where the ethic and law begin and end ? In sport, AUT, so laws allow unethical behaviors. |

It’s a funny thing that I have never owned a Garcia’s book.

My copy of Super Subtle was falling apart at the spine. The glue had dried up. A local used bookstore will often retain the services of a book restorer. The restorer working for a used bookstore in my neighborhood repaired/reglued my copy and it's good as new.
He did tell me not to open the book too widely. Apparently there are limits to repair jobs. |

It’s pretty funny, discussing the ethics of illegal copies of his books. He was a massive thief himself. He stole Wild Card from Peter Kane. Much of the material in his books is from other people and he neglected to ask permission. He even stole Fred Kaps’ reviews!
Even so: I’ve paid a lot of money for legitimate copies of his books - including the ring bound books. Why? Because he stole good material. He was a good performer too. He had charm, which counts for so much. http://youtu.be/D4mwOMl0XEs |

Thank you so much for the link.
A lot of charm indeed. |
