I just bought the app.
It's nice you can translate the words in the notes app into your own language.
Is there also a way to change the names of the apps you swipe through or at least the name of the app "Notes"?

Why would you want to change the name of the notes app? It's there because that is what the native notes app looks like and is named. Or is that app name in a different language on your device (assuming you're not using a US/English language device).

I'll second j100 on that. I used that presentation with a group of friends the other day and we were dying laughing.

As I said it all depends on whether you want fantastic reactions in the moment or a long term cooler. As a magician people know we use tricks. If an hour later a spectator thinks they know how you did one or two of them it’s not a major problem, you did your job and you entertained them in the moment. People will often try and backtrack and some will come up with credible theories. As a mentalist you do t have the same visual flash bank whiz of a magician and so it all hinges on your credibility.

My girlfriend isn’t a typical magicians girlfriend who knows lots of methods. We haven’t been together that long and I don’t practice on her. She has been to one of my gigs and she came to lads with me where we hung out in the bar. She watched the trailer with me and her initial reaction was a typical layman’s reaction. Around 10 minutes later she had figured out the method completely and the only thing that she got wrong was that she thought it was voice activated. My gut feeling and all of my experience of working to laymen is that she is the norm rather than the exception.

Cypher sells with a similar force/reveal for a lottery ticket. Funny enough the effect that is taught with Cipher is version 1 of my effect Numbers. I rejected version 1 straight away because as incredible as the reactions were in my testing when I pushed my non magician friends to offer a solution 100% of them surmised that the number must have been forced, because I used their phone they didn’t know how but the general consensus was that the sum was always going to add up to that number no matter what they input. The current version that uses the force number as a starting point gets equal reactions but that same test group could not offer even a single method.

The tool is exactly what it is supposed to be, a digital force bag. It’s very well put together and has a great input method. Tarim is 100% spot on that Occams Razor takes you straight to app . That’s not the apps fault it is up to the performer to layer and structure logical disconnects.

Love that routine, Numbers. Super deceptive having that portion after the force. I do use Cipher for it though, so that I gain the extra bits of info that I can use for other things on another occasion when I see the same person/people again.

Yep! Different language.
It's a small thing and would pass by most spectators, but it would be nice if this could be made possible.

Stanford is the 1 from 10 prediction/force right? In that case, the main difference is 90...

With the Inject force you are changing the picture to match their chosen number. If you wanted a different force you'd need ten different pictures ready, not something you can do on the fly. DFB you can change the force item between performances or even mid group if you wanted to.

Minor correction ... it's 12 items, not 10. Smile
You are correct. You would need to create 12 different images if you wanted to force something else.

Inject allows you to create as many effects as you like. So if the magician wanted to create several presets for different types of effects, they can have them all ready before the start of any performance.
(And it doesn't have to be 12 items. It can be as many items as you like).

Just a quick question, how easy is it to transfer the app when you buy a new phone?

The app will be purchased and saved to your Apple/google account, so as long as you don't switch OS platforms (Apple to android or vice versa) then all you need to do is log into your account when you get a new phone, and re-download at no cost.

If you switch platforms, you have to re-buy the app at full price. The same goes for any other app.

I’m 2 steps away from purchasing this.

I imagine you could use Murrey’s I-Cal work to obtain the numbers covertly. Gregory Wilson’s exact change would be amazing with this too!
