The young folks don’t know nothing bout this.

This is neckbones, collard greens and hot water cornbread cooked with lard singing.

Al Green- How Can You Mend a Broken Heart (Live on Soul!, 1972)

Al Green - Tired of Being Alone (live) 1973

The Dells - Stay In My Corner (Live circa 1972)

LOVE IT!! I actually have the DVD of the concert you pulled the Al Green clips from. That "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" performance ranks as one of my favorite performances of all time! Of course, I'm partial to the music of that era anyway.

Thanks.

What's the name of the DVD that featured Al Green?

NM,

The DVD is called "AL Green - The Broadcast Archives". The video quality is not that great by today's standards, since the concert is circa 1972. But it's vintage Al Green and well worth having if you're an Al Green fan. I'm not sure if you can get it on Amazon anymore - I just checked and didn't see it listed. I think I got mine at an FYE store in the mall. Good luck.

One of the last living 10-in-one performers. I wanted to be in show business the worst way, and that was it.
