I just purchased Double Cross and find the process of making the "X" vanish from my closed fist not to my liking...I always seem to leave a faint impression of the X on my palm. It still freaks people out to find an X on their palm, but I needed another way to present this great effect.

Enter Turbo Stick. I now use small black X's instead of red ones when doing the routine. My reason for the spec holding out their hand palm down is to help with the magic...I simply wave the Turbo Stick under their hand to create the vanishes/productions of the little X's.

After the final X vanishes from the Turbo Stick I ask the spectator where they think it went? When it's revealed on their palm the reactions are GREAT!

This is genius! I just read a presentation for Turbo Stick that involved a more casual/bar bet type of presentation that I really liked. Your idea just shows how much more creative people are than me. These two tricks work extremely well together and don't feel like you have "forced" them together just for more "magic". For me, it also gives a better reason for the random white board paddle that I am pulling out.
