Just got an email with this and thought of this thread.
http://www.bigguysmagic.com/automatic-co......6a9ce442 Hope this will work for you. I may grab one in a month or two after seeing some reviews.

Poof-Daddy's suggestion is for a device that is a dropper -- it secretly places the coins in the hand. But if I understood the original post correctly, the problem was getting the drop from the hand to the pail synched properly, which is an entirely different issue.
While the dropper might be useful in other ways, I don't think it will help solve the poster's problem. SETH

I realized that later. It was a different thread from a while back where someone was looking for something like this.
My bad, but it looks like a cool dropper as opposed to the ”el cheapo” one I have.

This is a device that quietly delivers a stack of about 8-10 half dollars into your cupped hand. It holds the stack securely until you're ready for it and works solely by gravity on a cam principle, with no springs, buttons or fancy mechanisms to hang up or go wrong. It should last indefinitely with reasonable care, and the cost is only about $5. Check The Magic Warehouse, Robbins or your favorite dealer if you're interested. On the other hand, you can accomplish exactly the same thing without a dumper, by stealing a few coins from the pail as you're demonstrating how many coins you've magically plucked from the air. But the dumper lets you do it without going near the pail first, if that's a dealbreaker for you. SETH

I've watched the Levent DVD as well as Capehart and have read the section in Bobo Coin magic. I am a confused with 2 aspects of the move: 1) How exactly to get the coin into the palm position so it looks like it's going into the bucket. I've practiced for months, but I still don't feel confident that I can get the coin in the palm everytime. Sometimes it falls, other times it doesn't get to the right spot on the palm and the move then looks terrible. Does the move to get the coin into the palm start when the coin is being shown to the audience, or when the hand is in the potion of going to the bucket? Is anyone willing to Facetime with me and show me how to do it? I've searched Youtube and watched many DVDs but nothing seems to isolate these points.
Secondly, I can't figure out the best way to hold the coins in the bucket. Do you recommend the coins going being stacked in your hand with the top coin on the top of the stack or bottom? It seems that it is held differently by different magicians. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions! |

If you mistakenly drop two at a time together, the audience will not know. You might want to try using dollar size coins. That is what I use. The more diameter allows you to separate them more before releasing one. Try using lotion to see if it will give you a better grip. |

The OP, Dader...still has not bothered to PM me. I now, seriously doubt that he is very serious.
kippteacher1 contacted me about 3 days ago. I was busy and, could not reply for a day or two. I responded with some general information on the MD. and, suggested that he order my dvd. ($20.) Since he had not expressed interest in anything but the MD, I offered to xerox the 10 pages in my book that cover the MD, if he sent $3 to cover postage and xerox costs. He has not replied.

A very generous offer as usual from you. I do hope that kippteacher1 takes you up on your offer, there is so much that others can learn from you! I know I have benefitted greatly from both your book & DVD. Thanks Mark
